went to belsh!ll store today on way back from somewhere else its my first time in that store. no customer scanner, some less than helpful staff and a pitiful £1 sale rack about 10 items total.
there were 2 mens cream cardis on rail both priced £25 thought it was a mistake but at checkout it was 75p
also a purple long sleeved top with a pug dog on front that my daughter loved for £1

I agree with you but i can see why people are doing it.
How many ebay lurkers come to these sites looking for profit tips? They probably can't be bothered to sit and read a full thread like us true moneysavers so i'm glad they can't get the info by searching their local store and promptly emptying the shelves once they find out there's loads of nice stuff. But it's just as likely that the ebay sellers put more effort in and will read it all. Hm i don't know. < wafflingInternet earnings:

Erm, what difference does it make to you if people put the town???
If it is there local store they will recognise the name....no further info necessary!!

Some people indeed....:p if you've got enough blooming time to 'correct' everyones posts with the correct town names...then take the blooming time to read through posts to see why people do this....it purely makes it that little bit harder for Mr T staff to locate their store and any potential glitches. If you dont approve of that and think its wrong...why are you on here? Why would you want all the glitches removing quicker? Of course people recognise the store as their local - thats the whole point, (otherwise no one would put any blooming store names in!)...its simply so that you cant type a town in the search facility and come up with all the threads relating to it...ie Mr T glitches!
If you feel that strongly that this is wrong, I wouldnt waste time correcting everyones posts...you wont get much thanks for it. Instead, go and get a job at MrTs, then you can alert everyone straight away so they can fix the glitches!hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -

Thanks OP
Got a few things yesterday and some how the size 10 jeans actually fit me - Tesco must do large sizes.0 -
I don't want to be shot down in flames here as I got a few tops yesterday for £1 but don't you think this is the lure that Ts is dangling in front of your face. I went into T's this morning to see if they had anymore £1 stock, my sole purpose of my visit. No stock to be had but £25 lighter in my purse. I really must of better self control.
Well, yes, that's eaxctly what it is, a loss leader to get you to come into the store in the first place. And once you're there you might as well do your shopping there rather than go to Asda or Sainsburys or wherever, and you might just like the shop well enough to come back. Tesco never, ever do anything that isn't to benefit themselves. Even the recent cheap electric hunt and half the glitches are almost certainly deliberate. It's like baiting a rat trap with chocolate.Val.0
