I felt like doing cartwheels last night. Went back to Mansfield store in the eve out of curiosity and no decent clothes left, just a few take that t-shirts. Was very disappointed and went in search of stuff I actually needed and came across a bin (Mr T bin, not actual bin) full of shoes, bags, hats etc.
Needed 14 Christmas presents for girls in my youth group and there were exactly 14 green handbags with large bows on them! :D plus amazingly nice lady who was browsing herself who helped me unravel them all and bit through the elastic for me when we couldn't get them free from the flip flops. :rotfl:what a star!

  • Hi everyone, I'm new to this but does anyone know if there are any bargains to be had in the "west midlands", or can I be more specific and actually say where I mean?, thanks
  • Not much at Tesco R0b0r0ugh Extra this morning; about a dozen pairs of grey checked wool gloves and some general tat. Talked to a SA about some of the half-price toy offers and mentioned the £1 clothing; was told that the staff had first refusal before anything went out on the floor (at least at this branch).

3 summer shorts playsuits for next summer...all different
    1 long summer jumpsuit
    2 pairs of skinny trousers
    1 v necked jumper
    1 animal print strappy top
    1 caramel coloured sleeveless shirt

was annoyed yesterday at Kingston park, they were stopping trolleys going in but 3 Asian men had took then in ignoring the staff and filled them up to the ceiling with every thing going leaving nothing for others most likely for their market stall , needles to say there was a lot of angry shoppers and the staff were ignored from them as they demanded they put the stuff through the till
a simple sign with max 10 items would be so easy to put up.

I was told by the manager that there would be more stock today so of we went early only to find nothing was delivered

    Hi dazzii,

Kingston park is my local as well, is there any good stuff being put out?
  • Is this still running? Went to the Edmonton store this morning, nothing there :-(
  • thank you Burnham1 as you have said exactly the same as i said but it was 2 asian women who took all the clothes at gilesgate, they took no notice of staff either just kept piling the clothes in trolleys. i got accused of being racist for saying it, but im not a racist as i have coloured relatives

Dont put this you will get shot down by the anti racist mob even though you are probably not racist as I got shot down on a post similiar.
They will say to you would you of put three white men if they were white.

  • Been back to our local store, whilst there I checked the reduced rail in the men's & kids clothing section and found 2 pair of jeans for my hubby both had reduced labels on them for £9 and 1 pair for my son reduced label said £4.50..all 3 scanned at £1 each :) also found 2 packs of boxer shorts in a bargain bin label and a pants and sock gift set.. all scanned for £1 too... so well chuffed!
Nothing at all on our £1 rails only grey hats and a few belts.
