Anything in Bristol Extra stores? Brislington / Bradley stoke? My local normal size Mr T doesn't sell much in the way of clothing.. only packs of knickers and socks it seems! lol!

I think they should have a staff rule on this type of sale, not allowed to buy unless its actually on the shop floor, rather than save what they want out the back and everyone else gets the rest.

They do. My sa said they're not allowed to save things...she also said nightstaff get a lot.
Would just like to say to the lady (and i use that word VERY loosely) who was at the Walsall Store today, who pushed me out of the way, hard, banging my large pregnant tummy - literally, with her trolly..... and gave a simple response of ''you gotta be quick here!'' and never once asked if i was ok when i had to sit down to catch my breath on the display sofa....

well, i saw you get out of your car beforehand,... in the disabled spaces, and you didnt have a blue badge..... i DID report you to the manager of the store for parking there.... :)

also, my son put his sticky fingers on your car bonnet after eating a iced doughnut.... i didnt stop him.

im not usually this petty, but your attitude was terrible... good job i had a midwife appt today to check all was ok.!!

    Cow! Hope you're ok.

I had the quickest look today and really thought it was awful, not to mention attitudes. If I want to go to a market, I'll go to the one in town. T's had all the cheap clothes rails outside today and it was like a car boot sale. Our Tesco is turning into a !!!!! magnet and I am more of a snob than I realised. I am going to Sainsburys from now on.
  • sunshinestar101, that's awful! I hope you and bump are ok. Getting a bargain is great for everyone involved, but it really isn't worth it when people start getting aggressive and pushy over it, especially around a pg mum!! That's just selfish and inconsiderate xx

I hope you and your baby are ok.I remember when i was pregnant and working in london the amount of suited and booted men that would push past me to get the seats on the train and then hide behind their papers pretending they didnt see me.

It was sold out here by 8am...I called at 11:07am (at work) to be told yeah there's loads of stock, so I was there by 11:30 to find nothing for £1.

I asked at Customer Services and they told me it had all gone by 8am, so I called head office and complained about being given the wrong information and they refunded my £2.05 bus fare - which is nice and I suppose they didn't have to, but doesn't give me back the hour and a half it took to get there and wait for the hourly bus I missed by being there.

I told them that since they provide a phone line for customers to call to check on things in store, they really should know what's going on in store. Ah well, next time maybe.

I went first thing this morning, TBH I wouldn't have paid 50p for most of the stuff they had out in my store, some very dodgy looking knitwear and I certainly wouldn't have joined in a scrum for any of it, even if they were giving it away. Even the SA who was putting it out said that most of it was still overpriced :rotfl:
