Tesco 'pound shop'.

I went down to ch3lmsf0rd homeplus this morning (got there for about 9.30). Spent £16 but couldnt get more, only had the buggy and was walking home!

£1 rails in the middle, at top of escalators but there was also a £1 rail to left left of the store, by the womens shoes and a rack of £1 shoes there too. Plus, down by the kids hats area on the end, star wars hat, glove and scarf sets for £1, not many people had noticed those. Don't know how much will be left now but worth hunting around not just by the main rails!

Oh and in the stationary department they also have 10p superglue!!

What is it with you people? Why vent your anger on here when there is a STORE MANAGER to vent to. Its what he is there for. If the staff are taking all the stock and being rude, ignoring customers and not doing their jobs peoperly then report them! If you feel some limits should be applied to the number of items any one person can have then make your thoughts know to him. Take him and show him the mele!!

Been to copdock ipswich at 9.30 this morn managed to grab some bits not alot of choice when I got there tho lots of ladies black patent work shoes in size 6- not my size tho!!!

Had mens suits only size 40 left lots of take that tops

Had lots of ladies sequined berrets

Any decent tescos in Nottingham got decent cloths for £1?? Only been to one tesco and got a few things but need to find some skinny jeans in size 8/10

Got to Steven"£e by mid morning and there was one rail left with a couple of brown and black t-shirts, nothing else. Bumoed into my friend who works there and she said earlier there were about 3 rails and some lady kept buying lots so security asked her to leave!

Was hoping for a bargain but not this time...

Am definitely planning to send a stiff email to them about a terribly mis-managed sale. How can they advertise it and have one lot of staff saying 'come here at 8am, there's gonna be loads of items' and another saying 'we have no stock and no idea when delivery is coming in'. Wouldn't mind if either was true but I just wasted time trying to figure out which one of them was indeed correct!

Hi nessie216 unfortunately the rails are right at the front of the clothes section big 1pound banners so it was attracting everyone couldnt be missed.

they had hardly any womens clothes at all lots of the black patent shoes size 6 only I think were left. Some mens bits the other side of ladies (i nearly missed that bit) only had a couple of different t shirts but lots of them, suit jackets and trousers size 40, fleece jumpers. I found a star wars hat and scarf set for a pound with the kids hats at back (opposite toiletries aisle) and randomly saw a baby boy outfit hidden round there too.

It was mad people were shoving and blocking whole rails!

I think they should have a staff rule on this type of sale, not allowed to buy unless its actually on the shop floor, rather than save what they want out the back and everyone else gets the rest.
