    RAWRRRR

please remind me to stop posting in other boards, i just get annoyed at the idiocy of some people
ie an incredibly racist view on asian drivers in the vent board, i just had to post sthg (tho have also reported a large chunk of it!)

on a tough note am having soooo much fun jobhunting atm, NOT!! why are companies so rude, they say they'll let you know and you only find out when you see they have re-advertised?!?!?! tho at least it's not just me i suppose :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: for all!!

I saw the thread earlier... struck a cord with me, the subject matter... needless to say I always thank anyone who lets me out/lets me cross the road/gives way when crossing the road....etc. ;)

just ignore the troll. bored.com is my word for trolls.

Little girl from next door was showing me her doll this morning which her nanna bought but she said it had no clothes and was cold. So tonight I will sit and knit some clothes and cut a blanket out of some nice pink fleece for her doll.Have some odd wool and needles. We cant have her dolly being cold now can we. Dad lost his job about 7 months ago and they are really struggling.Even if i dont have much to give them at least dolly wont go cold.

Hope everyone as a nice evening.:)

I'm not going to read anymore of this thread, crying again. :)

Cranky, I had a tear in my eye, how wonderful that you have given your son a way to talk about things, amazing hunny :)

Ah well my trip to Mr S acually cost 20 quid so got more than the eggs. It was a bit of a whistle stop shop as Dd came with us, so we stuck DGS in a highchair in the cafe with Grandad and they had tea together. they didnt know we kept running down aisles and checking on them but they did fine, we were only a phone call away in case OH couldnt cope and he was so pleased with his success it was worth it. Got a good few bargains but why oh why is good washing up liquid now so damn expensive - I had a bit of a rant to Dd. Definately going to have to find some fairy in a pound shop now.

Kimsmum and cranky40:cry:. you both caused me to shed a tear. and you both have made me realise again just how lucky I really am to have two beautiful well fed/clothed, not quite spoilt, and loved little girls and a (mostly) wonderful hubby, somewhere warm and safe to live and despite not having plenty of money, we have enough for what we need.

So, who's coming for a visit then?? I'm in manchester and just about to take up knitting (for my tiny weeny nephew born recently at just over 2 lb). I did knit a cardi when i was carrying DD2. i knew she was going to be diddy, but i may have knitted it just a little too tight...it didn't even fit DD1's little doll:rotfl:. I've borrowed some needles from my mum and dug out my 'knitting for dummies' book, but I have no idea where the best place is for wool. there is an aberkaan (sp?) in town. I don't have much money to spare so obviously looking for cheapish! put an ad on freecycle but no response yet.

    xx

ETA. just remembered a funny story i wanted to share with you...
please bear in mind that we are quite (very in fact) relaxed about nudity in our house and DD's are aged 3 and 6. My dad often forwards e-mails he finds amusing and this evening he sent me one about not picking up hitch hikers with a pic of a very attractive woman. as the e mail unfolds she removes clothing and DD2 giggles and says she has small boobies, there is then a back view of her naked and she says 'mummy, your bum is much bigger than that' and at the final pic she opens her mouth wide and gasps 'MUMMY!! she's got a willy!!!!!!' cue a very interesting discussion on transgender stuff with 2 very fascinated little girls. I'd not laughed that much in a while :D
