The dhbdirect offer is £72.50 for the DELUXE version delivered. This has the 'polish mode', the travel case and includes a Probright brushhead. Amazon is currently selling the Deluxe model for £139.17.
Not sure I'm getting this!!!! I've been looking into getting an electric toothbrush and sis a bit of research. I looked on site such as amazon where I found the Oral B 9500.
What I don't understand is that Amazon are selling a standard electric toothbrush (link below) that from the picture looks exactly like the one on the dhbdirect.co.uk website that is classed as an Oral B 9500 DLX

Then amazons 9500 DLX looks completely different?!!!! so confused!!

As I've never used an electric toothbrush before I want to make sure that if I am parting ith £70+ I want it to be correct!!!!!!!0 -
If anyone is going to Hong Kong (or has friends out there) then the Oral B 9500 DLX is VERY cheap.
I got one there 2 years ago for $450 HK dollars which is under £30.
Since HK is an old British territory all the voltages etc match up.0 -

The first one you mention is the 9500 standard version, the second one is the deluxe (DLX) which has more functions so is more expensive.0 -

The Amazon DLX one has the toothbrush in the stand with the toothbrush case. Both models have this.
The DLX model has the "polish" mode as well as having a ProBright brush head and the travel case. See for a better picture:

If dhbdirect still has the DLX one for £72.50 delivered go for this one. As I said in a previous post the pic and description on the dhbdirect website is a bit rubbish. I phoned them to confirm it was the deluxe model. I am very happy with mine. Only used the clean mode and the flossaction brush head but plan to use the Probright head soon.0 -
Powerpolisher brush head is the same as ProBright.
The charging ring is a small white ring that can also go into the base. You can keep the charging ring and the base separate.0 -
there seem to be some newer ebay sellers selling cheaper than the dhb website.... am considering them if my order does not come.... have called them, ordered 6 days ago....0

Worth calling DHB as mine was delivered by a courier company: ANC Express0 -
Hi twe, just wondering if you got the superdrug own brand sonic, and if so, is it any good. Don't have an electric toothbrush at the moment, and would like one, but don't want to spend a fortune. Would be grateful if you have any feedback.0

Hi, For the price there is nothing else out there that I have tried that can touch it..... Including the replacement brush heads... although they have seemed to go up in price from £2.49 to £2.99.... but then the toothbrush has dropped to below £12 now.....
It will feel a little weird using it though, as it gives a polishing action since the bristles are so fine.... but they will do a better job than a manual brush....
Also make sure that you keep your receipt as 3 out of the 6 toothbrushes that I bought needed to be replaced as they became faulty [bought for friends/family when superdrug had their 60% off all toothbrushes a year ago].....0
