Walked away from a 50 squid Osprey bag and a navy knitted dress yesterday. Walked all over the shop with them, hovered by the cash point but then I PUT THEM BACK...I'm seriously brainwashed!! I'm not entirely sure it was the right decision because never again will I find a darling bag that cheap but I know I'm just too eyeballed up with debt right now! Oh dear snowball, make the flakes thicker and faster, I cannot wait to spend again!!! (Obviously whilst working to a budget my friends..)

That's pretty amazing! Actually, I'm in awe.

    Brilliant. :A:A:A

well done for leaving the goodies in the shop, you know it was the best thing you could do - my hat is off to you!
  • Well it's not coming down as fast as hoped! That seems quite pathetic really...I am absolutely skint again, owed my Mum a considerable sum of money which I'm paying her back today so I cannot knock any more off the cards this month. Roll on Christmas pay day.

Oi, no Shower-bashing!! That's brilliant that you've managed to pay off your mum and as long as you can pay the cards as well, then it's all a fab situation over which you can feel all smug and proud (or 'prud' as I typed originally!)...go on...we'll wait....

  • could be worse, much worse, I could be smug and prude.

It has just been the most awful few weeks. Truly dreadful. I really need to do something massive to cheer myself up but I'm struggling with ideas on that front. Managing to lose weight but not in a healthy way at all. Fallen out with the kids....again.....totally my fault. Result being they've nicked my mobile and broken up the gifts I brought them back from my hols. I can't blame them really. I do have a horrible rotten incredible hulk streak..like a bubbling pot of anger beneath my swan like exterior. (more like sugar plum fairy exterior but we can be who we want to be here, right?) Spent a massive amount of money on petrol yesterday because I just took off. Ended up miles from anywhere and had to turn back a bit embarrassed!!!:o At least I'd mended the ripped shirt and was no longer charteuse but a slightly saner sallow!

Today is another day and I'm sure it can't get any worse. Not having my 'phone is making me incredibly jittery...it's like an extension of my arm!! If it doesn't magically reappear today I'll sort out another sim tomorrow and then a new phone.....more expense. I'm working tomorrow so at least I'll be in town.

    Onwards and upwards....:)

    Never mind, it's Christmas soon...:T

Mind you if they keep up the not talking it will save me a fortune..;)

Which reminds me, wasn't there some lovely tuneage during the incredible hulk proggy??? I must search..

Hugs for you and the kids on the current situation - but you know what? no matter how much of a git you think you were/are, there is no excuse for someone to steal or vandalise your belongings. So you are very welcome to take responsibility for whatever you did or said - but you don't get to be greedy re. the rest. That's entirely on them. And sometimes walking away (or driving!) is the best thing for everyone concerned. At this point I'm assuming your kids are old enough to be left alone...

I don't know if it's appropriate to mention (don't hate me!), but if you're all having a bit of trouble speaking to each other without yelling (or throwing stuff - which is often how my sister and I used to communicate...), and everyone is really angry, hurt and upset, then the local counselling service will be able to offer family facilitation services, and help with anger management..your GP's surgery will have details if you can't find them online.

And that hulk thing - so long as your trousers stayed on, then you've got a great foundation to start from, Sweetie....and you know us, we're all about the fresh starts around here! ;)

Take care of yourself - just do one thing for you today...even if it's just taking a moment to yourself with a nice song on the radio, or a bit of quiet with a cup of tea. Remember, it's hard to be tolerant of anyone else if you aren't at least a little understanding of yourself first.

hope you find the mobile soon, maybe you've mislaid it rather than one of the kids taking it.
