  • OH DEAR!!! I went out not intending to spend anything just to me my OH for lunch, but wandered by the window of Ernest Jones, and it was the last day of their sale so I had a nosey in the window and there was the most gorgeous wedding ring with 1/2 crt of diamond set in it! Which was half price £450 down from £900, anyway I debated with myself and went in to have a closer look, the lady said it was the last one and didn't know what size it was so got it out anyway for me to look at, and guest what it was my size perfectly an "O". So again I walked away then couldn't stop thinking about it so ended up getting it on a 0% pay over 6 months deal. EEEPPPPPPPP not what I had planned for but in the big picture I didn't expect to pay much less than £700 on a platinum wedding ring, so it is afte all a bargain. But now I have the guilts going on, my OH said its fine and he loves it. Oh well just had to tell someone the story of my very expensive day!!!!
    Just trying to be me.....

Well I knew today would be a big spend day as its the day I do my shopping for the week, but it was a lot less than normal, so feeling a bit pleased with myself :D

Had to buy lunch out as met a friend and her little one (which was previously arranged) but managed to get away with only spending £4.55 for me and the little one. Normally I would have easily spent double that but conscious of where we went to eat and what I was buying and we still all enjoyed it lol.

The main grocery shop for the week was only £65.25 and I was really pleased with this as it was about £20-30 cheaper than normal, and by some careful looking at what I was buying I actually saved £10.65 over the whole bill (BOGOF, reduced items etc).

Also spent £34.79 in Boots which was another bargin hunt as I saved £20.33 and had 794 points added to my card (which is another £7.94 saved). I also split the shopping in two which meant I got another two vouchers for £3 of haircare and £5 of No7 which means another £16 saved next week when I go and buy those bits to stock up my cupboards whilst they are on special offer.:rotfl:

Today I spent £27.25 on uniform for work (£109 worth of stuff though, IYSWIM), this was planned for and not from my target for the week.

And I spent £9.25 on a bag that my mum's going to give me for my birthday now have to forget all about it lol so she'll give me that back.

So a NSD for me! :j

    I spent:

    £1.50 on bus fare
£1.75 on a good luck card for someone

I also had to spend on postage for EBAY parcels and a small roll of bubble wrap but I am not going to count these as buyers paid and the p&p cost covered the cost of the bubble wrap too.

So, £3.25 for me today then....off to update signature...
