The old tree across from my house must have been damaged in the wind yesterday because it's been chainsawed off at the trunk! So sad! All the jackdaws will have to nest somewhere else, and the view wont be the same... I hope this isn't a precursor to them building flecking houses on the field opposite, that would be a tremendous shame.

Oh no that's awful hbl :(

As you say, I hope that doesn't indicate the beginning of the end for the field. It would be such a shame.

I know we all need houses to live in but what about us cows??? :rotfl:

Morning all  glad the weather's died down, very worried for the roof yesterday! Thankfully all fine!
well, talk about give with one hand and take away with the other etc etc...Still all my fault here in the Sasser's house. !
Got home to discover my car got clamped - I forgot to tax it as I'm not using it at the moment (broken down)!
    But....
......had a bloke pop a note through the door saying he wants to buy it....!:j
So apart from having two no-spends this week and being very good, I will be off later to get the new tax and pay the clampers!
    And ring the prospective buyer:D
    Have a good one
    love Sas x

About 60p today on brown roll and 2 bananas. Though believe me, today I want a sandwhich more than ever (but let's face it, that costs at least 5 times more!). OH is getting a little shopping for us at home out of his money, hurrah.

Morning all, hope this finds you all warm and well. NSD yesterday. Today still got DH at home (although thankfuly, he has stopped throwing up!) he has gone for a walk to get some fresh air and is going to buy two crusty cobs for lunch to go with the (yes I know!!) homemade soup I will be making shortly. Can't decid on which to do today. It will be either parsnip, cream of parsnip(NO its NOT cheating they ARE different!) Veg, Lentil, spicy lentil or cream of Lentil! Or I may roast some veggies and experement(you see you lot we in Manchester really do know how to have a good time!) Anyway where was I ! Oh yes how much spending(seema ages ago- sorry!) about 40p for the rolls, and 35p for M.E.N. Thats all folkes. By the way a small update on the(lack of )cash situation I FOUND A TENNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was in my tiny "going out" purse(must have been from Go West) so even with the 75p today we still have (just) over £10. Hopefully the LEA will come up with something soon, I will get ny mysyery shopping pay and there are tuition monies to come on Sat. All in all we are managing quite we.. I have just reailised how much I'ved waffeled on SORRY everyone. Hope everybody has a good day stay safe and warm and finally BE CAREFUL.

I havent spent anything so far today but i did find £1 at the post box this morning so now am debating should i put it in my piggy bank or add it to my 97p i have left in my budget and buy Heat Magazine? I nearly bought it yesterday but then thought of seeing my name in red again and i dont want that! This thread has really made me rethink my spending so thanks Moozie!
