Morning ancasta,
I am hoping for a NSD, my boss brought be breakfast (as he was late, it's the rule round here.... needless to say I am MS and always early!) and I have lunch with me. But can I avoid the traditional Friday lunchtime trip to the pub?
Other than that it has been a good week, I still have £3 left out of my £20 budget and have had 3 NSDs.
Have a good Friday everyone!Saving for an early retirement!0 -
The weather did me one favour last night, we thought it was too dodgy to go out for the takeaway we had to travel several miles to go to, I had other things I wanted to do with the money and petrol, so I made a hm pizza and oven fries, saved me about £20 + petrol! So far this week have spent just over £20, thats a record, have to go shopping at the weekend, but that will be about £30. Th recipe was one that didn't have to go in a bread maker as well and was really nice!0

Good morning lovely DFWs

Well, isn't today a very different day to yesterday? There is hardly any movement outside - where has all that wind gone?
Thank you ancasta for starting the thread

Well, I am not planning to spend any money today until the end of the working day! :j I was far more organised today so breakie and lunch are sorted! I'd love to get a couple of birthday presents that I need but it can wait until tomorrow so it's definitely not within the challenge
Hope on Sunday we have some lovely updates on how we all did!
Have a great day everyone and keep it low!

Today I'm "working from home" (thus being here on MSE!) due to baby reasons which I won't go into here but is a real pain LOL!
It could well be a NSD for me too, although actually just remembered DP has a two-hour driving lesson ahead of his test next week (how expensive are driving tests nowadays???!!! ) Here's hoping he passes!

Well I think I have to buy some milk today! Managed to eke it out further yesterday than I thought! I should be spending a total of £2.50 today!0

Trying for a NSD today. I have to post some ebay parcels but don't count the spend there because I have been paid it by the buyers.
Have a good day everyone

I'm going for £20 today as I'm going out for tapas tonight and haven't been out for ages! I will drive which will make it a lot cheaper and also I'm on a diet and alcohol not good for that!October make £10/day currently £11.020

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHGGGGGGGGGHHH!!!!!!
The old tree across from my house must have been damaged in the wind yesterday because it's been chainsawed off at the trunk! So sad! All the jackdaws will have to nest somewhere else, and the view wont be the same... I hope this isn't a precursor to them building flecking houses on the field opposite, that would be a tremendous shame.
As for money, I've got to pick up some photos from my sister's wedding (which was at least 6 months ago now), but I'm not paying for those, someone else is. I didn't bring lunch, so will have to buy lunch again. Will try not to make it egg mayo on wholemeal and go for something a little less mayo-heavy.Student Loan Company Ltd: 17,805 (2.8%) Overdraft: 500 (Interest free)
