Cheap Butter?

I have seen butter for £1.10 per block at tesco and asda but not any cheaper. Does anybody know if you buy it in bulk from a dairy cheaper? Has anybody seen any 250g blocks of butter cheaper recently. This time last year it was 50p in asda!:(

And just in case there's none of the 500g in Mr T, Iceland have 2 x 250g for £2.50 - gotta have a plan B Incidentally, if you're a fan of the Lurpak Spreadable (I'm not particularly) Asda have 500g for £2 too.
