Yes they are really good, I used to have to wait up to 4 days for a transaction to be processed through my account but with Citibank it goes through immediately and I can see a detailed transaction within 24 hours.£2 Coin Savers Club (Christmas)- £86£1 Jar (Christmas)- £29Christmas Vouchers Saved: £1450

I'm having an issue with my Visa Debit card and I wonder if I am not alone.
My card works fine at cash machines, online and all retailrs that use chip and pin.
But anytime the card is swiped, the transaction is declined.
I wonder if there is a fault with the magnetic stripe on the card, or whether CitiBank will only allow chip and pin purchases.
Any feedback from other CitiBank members would be appreciated0 -
Citibank don't allow swipe purchases for some reason, don't know why??£2 Coin Savers Club (Christmas)- £86£1 Jar (Christmas)- £29Christmas Vouchers Saved: £1450

Weird. Well at least I know for future reference now. I can stop getting embarrased in the queue0 -
Actually come to think of it, the shop where I work, our card merchant machine hates it when you have to swipe a card, always declines...just imagine what happend the week before Christmas and some dripped the chip and pin unit on the floor and it broke?!!!!£2 Coin Savers Club (Christmas)- £86£1 Jar (Christmas)- £29Christmas Vouchers Saved: £1450

I work for Asda & any chip card we swipe declines cause I spose the idea is to be using the chip now. I've used my card online & in Asda & local chemist so far & it's all going fine lol I thought most retailers had chip terminals now? Maybe it's just declined cause of being swiped0

I used the £500 cash withdrawls three times this week, so handy, had a new bathroom and much easier being able to get £500 a go, could get it on the way home rather than miss lectures or work to get to a bank (I used to be with Natwest and could only get £250 a day).£2 Coin Savers Club (Christmas)- £86£1 Jar (Christmas)- £29Christmas Vouchers Saved: £1450
