Thats going a bit far dave saying the op is stealing.
He didn't just go in the bank and hold them up with a gun or anything. All he said was he thought the money was there and drew it out. Ok, maybe he does need to pay some fees, but banks are charging a fortune nowadays when I thought there was meant to be a law about charging too much.
He has made a mistake, but why be so damn right patronising to him. We can't all be perfect you know.

The "First right of appropriation" may apply in the OPs circumstances.

However generally you should notify the bank prior to the credit hitting the account of your intentions

    Hi guys

A few months ago probably around march/april My ebay account was restricted, I recieved a few 1/2 stars due to having a few problems such as pc blowing up and illness my posting times were a bit slack.
anyway I was restricted to 500 items p/m and worked very hard to get it all back up to standard to the point I was at standard or above on everything in uk/Ireland and America's but was 0.10% below on shipping time on global, so very close to getting back up.

However today when logging in I got a message saying account was restricted and all my listings ended effectively ending all my selling allowances, It gives no other info just says you can still buy on teh account.

Can anyone advise as to where I stand with this ? Its seems very harsh considering I have done everything to improve over the last few months , worked really hard and done everything I could.

You seem to also be running an eBay store, worrying about being restricted to selling 'only' 500 items a month? Something is quite fishy here.

What do you mean apparently you did. Most banks will give you a free £50 OD if you ask, but you didnt you just took. Now you should pay it back with fees which we all know are a rip of but thats what happens if you take without asking (stealing) what makes you think you can take someone elses money.

STEALING!!! Are you for real ? Granted I should have known what I had in hold my hands up to that but stealing? get a grip you fool.

Lets say you bump into a acquaintance in the street and he says ''ey up Dave, I have £20 of yours I borrowed the other night in the boozer, here you go'', sweet you think I forgot about that, few weeks later he knocks on your door, '' Now then Dave you dirty thieving rat I didn't owe you £20 at all, so you owe me £110 now for my inconvenience''
Lets be right, the would get a slap for being a cheeky sod.

Best thing about it is they are charging me another £20 for going overdrawn because of their thieving charges, if anyones a thief its them.

As I had said elsewhere, I have never been overdrawn in the whole of my life - I haven't had a bank account in my name since 1981!

My wife runs the money in our household and she knows exactly to the 1p what is in the account and what is available to draw out.

    Good management is key!

Bank at fault - now I have heard everything!!

" sorry but can't pay the credit card anymore - anyhow it's not my fault really, they allowed me to run up the debt didn't they?"
