When most people make mistakes, they take responsibility for it, not try and find a way out of it.

This happened to me - I'm with RBS and I got my money back as they claim they cannot touch benefits!

Yes I have but never with my money!

I know exactly what comes out and when with DD's & SO's.

Plus I keep a record of every ATM withdrawal or debit card withdrawal. I don't use cheques. It's either cash or the card.

    I have never been overdrawn.

it was their confusing balance updates that caused this if he didnt have 20 quid in there he should an would not have been able to take it out

he was alowed to take it out so he had 20.00 in there

You can't disgaree that fees of £90 for borrowing £20 is excessive, surely?

It's not a case of disgareeing with fees or thinking the bank should in some way be responsible for your finances, it's the amount in fees in relation to the debt that is extortionate.
