Another convert here too.
Only thing is that even when I dilute it a lot it still brings my mirrors and windows up streaky. Also slightly sore hands from using it.now mum of 4!!!0 -
Question:
Can you use Stardrops to wash the whole car with? Wouldn't want to use it and the paintwork flaking off! LOL0 -
sadiedoll wrote:If people want disinfectant, can I recommend the pink sister of Stardrops, Startips? I use that in the loo/work surfaces and it smells lovely. There's also a pine one (Starpine) which is green, but its a bit pine-y for me.......
Also Zoflora do a concetrated Anti bacterial spray, which I picked up for 99p in Sainsbury's - scent was 'Rainfresh' - really nice.
just to reiterate(sp) do not mix stardrops and zoflora! thanks to an earlier posterbe loyal, be loud, be cas, be proud

I have tried original which i love and the white one, which has a very strong smell so i tended to use that for cleaning the loo with.
Does anyone know what the white stardrops is for.??
Hi, Ive used the white one on the cooker for major grease marks. I would ventilate the area well though, as the smell of ammonia is quite strong. Plus Ive used it on the patio to clean up after the dog!
The pink one (i think) is like the anti-bacterial version, (do correct me other posters if Im wrong)
The green one, is the disinfectant version.
Take your pick,Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Hi, I've been converted to stardrops for a while now and saved a fortune on cleaning products, I clean everything with it!
I have a decanted some into a squirty bottle with water and have one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen (although you only need a tiny bit as it gets a bit foamy if you use too much) it bring my mirrors, tiles and windows up lovely.
For floors I use warm water with a sqidge of washing up liquid and a squidge of bleach (Kim and Aggie tip).
I use white vinegar to clean my dishwasher out and it sparkles.
Microfibre cloths are also good and Aldi currently have a pack of really big ones for £1, I paid about £3 for 2 tiddly ones in Sainsburys.
Another little tip I picked up don't waste money on make-up-removal wipes just use baby wipes I do and they work just as well and are always on offer somewhere.Remember ....its not a bargain unless you need it0 -
HappyIdiotTalk wrote:Do you think this would get rid of the stains in my karate uniform? I think its only dust and a bit of mud that I'm picking up when I get thrown on the floor ect, but its proving very difficult to get out. I've been washing it on its own at 90 degrees with Sainsburys cheapo biological powder but it still leaves stains which are quite visable. If so how do you use this 30mls and soda crystal mix? Does it go in the tray or the machine?
I put both the Stardrops and Soda crystals in a plastic jug, and add about 1 pint of very hot water ( from kettle) mix it up a bit and then pour it through the soap dispenser........................works for me:D
Ah yes, I remember my Karate days, ich, ni, san, shi, go :cool:0 -
Hi have managed to find a bottle of stardrops in my local asda for 58p so have bought it to see how i go with it. It has made my sink, draining board shine big time and my bath room is gleaming too so am pleased. I will be tackling a few other bits tomorrow with it so will see how it does.2007 Competition challenge.( Win back my ntl internet costs for a year) Target £220 Have won so far = £9.99 Loreal revitalift pot of cream. and = £14.95 Royal mail smilers stamps!

I have a stardrops disaster to tell.
Dog decided to thieve from the bin, pepper core with a tea bag, took it into the hall to 'eat', nasty brown mark on paleish biscuit carpet.
Think I over did the stardrops used it part diluted more stardrops than water from a spray bottle, I've scrubbed and scrubbed, but the patch is much darker than the rest of the carpet. Cheap rug has covered it but I know it's there
Combination of teabag and and liquid perhaps.
Aside from that, I washed the car with it last week, polished with microfibre car and it gleamed.

I just used stardrops on my pushchair after leaving it folded up damp (doh!) its had gone green and mouldy. I think ive got rid of every trace thanks to stardops! I've done it neat on some bits which are machine washable and they are washing now - but its looking fab!
I bought my stardrops in Wilkinsons. Hidden on the bottom shelf after searching in loads of shops!
Im converted!:smileyheaRachel xx0
