Would stardrops be able to get a motor oil stain out of a linen skirt? If not...can anyone recommend anything?

    Wow, this stuff IS good!!
I bought a bottle last weekend after spotting it in my local Home Bargains shop ( excellent shop for cheap everyday items!!) and only got around to trying it just now.
And it is amazing! I bought the power cleaner one with ammonia in it as that is all they had, and I'm so glad I did as it's made my kitchen sparkle like new! All my baking trays are nice and clean and the griddle in the grill pan has never been so shiny and clean in all the time I've had it :-)
I'm very pleased with this product and will continue to buy it, as for 89p a bottle it's a bargain aswell.

I'm going to tackle the bathroom tomorrow, does this stuff remove mold from Walls and tiles etc? I have a SERIOUS mould issue in there!

I used it diluted about 1 part stardrops to 3 parts water, poured it onto the trays and left to soak for a few minutes then washed off under running water from the tap.
Haven't used it on my pans, and might be a little relucant to as they are non stick and I'd be a little worried the coating would come off.

Ahh I see - thanks hun. I just pulled my HUGE casserole type pan out of dishwasher and its still got baked in grime on it - so might try it on that.
    Thanks again hun x

  • Hi

I know that STARDROPS all purpose cleaner has been covered on this web site but what is the best way to use it for cleaning windows?

Ps I think it's a great cheap cleaner- thanks to all of you on that have recommended it.

  • I've never used Stardops for cleaning windows but I reckon I'd use it VERY sparingly. I always clean mine with vinegar and newspaper.

I use the general-purpose mix of one-third Stardrops, white vinegar and water, in an old spray bottle. Yes, use very sparingly: two "squirts" does your average window pane. One wet cloth to wipe on, one dry cloth to polish off.

I have an old spray bottle with dilute Stardrops, about 1 to 6 solution, spray on, wipe off with paper towels or newspaper. Doesn't smear at all. HTH
