I tried it neat and it didn't work... I'm obviously missing something!
In my case it was grill pans and grill racks rather than baking sheets, I've inherited them from the previous owner of the house (who left the place absolutely filthy). I have washed said equipment thoroughly, so am happy to cook on it but still can't get the baked-on grease off in the corners etc.

I find that for burnt on stuff if you use a it 50/50 diluted with water, and apply it with a sponge so its all foamy, then leave it for a while, it will mostly wipe the black bits off.
For some reason that works better than neat.
Hope that helps
WinkyRight now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0 -
Detergents need water to work in. One end of the detergent molecule is hydrophobic (hates water) and locks onto a grease molecule. The other end is hydrophilic (loves water) and locks onto a water molecule. As the water molecules can move around, they lift the detergent molecules and grease molecules away from the dirty item. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

Thanks. I'd actually tried it diluted with water before I used it neat and it didn't work... I'll try a more concentrated solution and see if that works... this stuff is really baked-on though (you know when people don't clean baking trays properly and so it's been cooked onto the tray several times over) so I'm not sure if anything but elbow grease (of which I have already applied lots!) will work...

I really don't think 'Stardrops' is all that.
I got some at a local store (B&M, about £1, fact fans!) and I've found it to be a bit poor, it doesn't compare to Mr Muscle kitchen cleaner or Flash. I don't get it.
I have this vision of martyrs scrubbing away with substandard products in the name of 'Old Style'Just because you are offended, doesn't mean you are right0
