I'm not very familiar with ebay and I only normally post within the UK. I've just had someone from Sri Lanka win an item I sold and he/she has written the following to me -

Is there anything wrong with this or are they being reasonable? I have checked their feedback and they do have 100% positive for buying GPS items. Is there anything I could be scammed for here before I part with the item?

Personally I wouldn't send it seems dodgy. But that's just me and why I only post to uk!

If they have good feedback and the spelling and grammer of feedback they have left matches that of the message then I would post, but I am a fairly trusting soul.

Then you are covered for loss even without a signature so using a 'better' service won't help but can't hurt- just remember it must go to the address that paypal say is OK to send to:

Ok, thanks for all your comments, I may take a chance, given they do have + feedback from others, especially knowing I am covered by Royal Mail.

Am I right in thinking once they put the money into paypal then it's mine ? Or are there paypal scams I should be aware of ?

I checked the royal mail actual site, and it is signed for, but it's your choice!
Here is the RM site just type in the weight and it will tell you the cost!

It isn't 'technically' safe for 180 days, chargebacks, INRs SNAD claims- none of them are scams but all are possible.
