I was just wondering whether anyone new if L0nd0n Br2nt X T3sc0 has a scanner and also H3rts H4tf13ld's machine is working at the moment and also what the score is at W4tf0rd?

For what it's worth - a quick suggestion for all those trying to write in code in order to fool anyone searching for a particular store.

Don't bother.

On the first page of this thread (Tesco, Price & Scanner in the title)
is a list of, I assume, just about every Tesco store in the country. So Tesco Watford scanner will show this thread however cryptic you try to make your post.

Also, if Scottish Lass, or anyone else decides to update the details on the first page they may struggle to identify some of the stores from the way they're written. I know I did. A local will probably know which store is being referred to, but people unfamiliar with the names might not. One possible reason why these threads seem to get abandoned.

Thank you. It was only that on another thread I was told not to write the proper name when asked bu someone what my local store was.

Yeah cos that could stop a glitch in that store but it should be ok to type it out in this thread

Durham - Rennys Lane - Scanners all removed
Durham City Centre Metro - No Scanner that I could find
Sunderland City Centre Metro - Scanner at the end of the biscuit aisle WORKING yesterday

After visiting loughborough found

Park road extra- Yes one in meat aisle not sure it is working
Town centre extra- Opposite toilets in the clothing bit working, and the aisle with the loo roll works.

Nottm Netherfield scanners are not working and definately haven't worked for around 6 weeks (not sure how earlier poster said they were working 2/11!). One upstairs always says see member of staff, one downstairs is off altogether and now has water leaking all over it! They must've lost an awful lot of custom as at least half of the stock has no price on the shelf, you either have to ask a member of staff and they disappear for 10 minutes or go to service desk and queue for ten minutes just to find a price! It's impossible to shop properly as you just can't budget as you walk around. The computer system on the Direct Desk is also not working properly, recently they were unable to sell anything! It must be the worse run shop in England, great when the scanners are working as there are always lots of bargains to be found, awful when there are no correct prices on anything!!
