Updated Tesco Price Scanner Locations

Don't know if this has already been mentioned, but there is a self-scanner at Tesco Allerton Rd, in the homewares aisle (pots & pans, mugs etc) that is still working

Found a third scanner in the Burnley store. At the end of the kitchenware aisle (by the glasses).

Just an update here, Swindon Ocotal way has removed their scanner in the cereals aisle (no explanation, just a big hole!), the only one I can now find is upstairs just as you come off the escalators.

I will check next time I'm in the Tesco Upper Boat/Pontypridd store as it's just turned into an extra.

Another little thought I've had (I don't have many lol) is that now that Most if not all the Tesco Extra stores have rolled out free wifi (might just be for those with clubcards) all you ipod touch or iphone users could use your devices as your own scanners with the tesco shopping apps barcode scanner.

UPDATE - Stockton (Extra), there aren't any scanners here anymore. I asked an SA & a guy that was with her (wearing plain clothes, I assumed some sort of manager) told me they had been removed for repair. However, they haven't been there for some time.

Whilst on a short holiday last weekend in MINEHEAD, Somerset. I dropped in to Tesco. It's not an Extra or Metro. The size inbetween I think. However I was surprised to find 2 WORKING scanners. never had a chance to use one before but I was able to ascertain the Cadburys Dairy Milk 120g was scanning at 93p as shown on SEL and not 34p as it does at times in some stores. It also did have the barcode which ends in 792. One scanner is on the wall to the right of the chocolate near the tills (right by CDM as it happens) and the other working scanner was on a wall in the same area, either cereals or crisp aisle (can't remember exactly). this scanner was able to confirm Dormen spicy nuts went through at 1p each. I had the 7 bags I could find on hanging strips.

Hi all I'm new so please be kind! I went to 3 T£sc0's today and wanted to share my new found scanner info!

Upper B0at P0ntypr1dd after it's refit has a working scanner! Located in the aisle with the longlife boxed juices about 3 aisles from the end on the right.:j Happy as this one's my local.

Card1ff Culverh0use x has a working scanner in the bike section,straight ahead of the entrance and on your left.:cool:

Card1ff Excelsi0r estate extra - 2 scanners but neither work :mad:

PS not sure if you alter the locations in this thread wanted to be safe!
