CMD I wish I had half as good a way with words as you do, what you say is so true.

How has Grace been overnight? And how are you two doing? x

Dinah and NIM, I'm so very sorry to hear this, I've kept Grace in my prayers and will keep on praying for her.

The only thing I can offer is that in such rare health conditions, doctors simply don't have enough evidence to say for definite what the outcome will be, there is always a chance in these cases, and Grace has already come so far, so everything is in her favour.

    Take care of yourselves.

Hey everyone, thank you for your thoughts. I'm feeling a bit more positive today, after her consultant saw me again and said she seems to actually be quite unique, in that she's still alive and not currently showing symptoms. They want to publish her case in a journal. All I can hope is she stays symptom free and our little girl really can be the miracle who can live with this.

So sorry to read your news Dinah and NIM.

I'm glad you are feeling more positive Dinah. I think the fact that Grace has come so far with no symptoms can only be a positive sign.

I'm thinking of all of you and really hope little Grace is the miracle we all think she is.

    Emz xx

    Hey Dinah,

That's more positive news for you to focus on. Didn't know what to say earlier when I read the last posts but just wanted to wish you all the best and to say stay strong. Grace sounds like a real fighter. Take care xx

Can those of you with children answer me a question please? The last few days Grace has started screaming so hard for a feed she manages to go from sound asleep to screaming so hard she changes colour to a blue-y purple within about 3 minutes. She's still screaming, she's not limp or anything like that, do normal babies manage to do this to themselves?

Sad again now, so scared of bringing her home where there are no medical people.

Also our conservatory failed this evening in the heavy rain, it became a substantial indoor pond and all the furniture was soaked. Think we need to either pull it down or find a way to replace it.

She is a little miracle so I don't see why not :D Just so happy her consultant sounds more positive, and you can rest your mind a little.

Sorry to hear about your conservatory though - yikes!! Is anyone else looking at the weather thinking '2012 IS NOT A LIE!' :p

Thought I'd bring a bit of lighter news to the thread, my Dad suddenly bought himself a puppy! He's called Dexter, after Dexter Holland, and is a Akita Husky cross. He's 9 weeks old, and my Dad keeps on using this pathetic baby voice to talk to him. And picking him up for cuddles, which he told me off for! Here's a picture :)

Agree with Cinny - and Grace is such a little fighter, I'm sure she's stubborn enough to prove everyone wrong :)

Couldn't believe the weather reports on the news this morning - floodingm hailstones etc  While we had 26C sunshine!
