Oh. Well. If you insist. Ryder killing a lion. Inspecting the washing machine. And finally, watching Countryfile (possibly) with my extremely sexy slippers...

I'm hoping we wont find out the horrific cost of vet bills for a dog for a while! :o We're getting him on a £10 a month plan with our vet that covers everything from emergency consultations to boosters and half yearly health checks. It's going to cost us about £60 a month to 'keep' him. But we're feeding him £40 a sack food until he's ready to be put on his maintaining adult food.

Hope the night shift goes quickly for you, Ruby! What a pain about the insurance, but they seem to be handling it really nicely.

Love the bag too, very you! :D

Realised tonight that my eyes aren't ready for night driving, halos round every single light- fun!

We've got a little scratch on it now, he's trying to dig his way in. Whenever I put a load on it's just bewitched watching it, silly pup.

I'd have freaked out thinking my eyes were broken with that, Birdie :o

D and Grace are both doing well. D is walking about and getting better at standing for longer which is good.

Grace had to have a tube put down her throat to help her breath. They didnt want to do it at first as she was right on the line and came out kicking and screaming. But the amount of oxygen she needed was high enough that they had to do it. She is now basically on normal air (21% oxygen) rather than the 40% plus. Docs reckon she will be in a position to start weaning off the tube in the next couple of days.

Hope alls well with everyone else.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Glad to hear everyone's doing better NIM.

Night shift is proving to be horrific at the moment. But it's calmed down again *touch wood*.

I hate everything to do with eyes Birdie, I don't know how you could have had the surgery!

And Ryder is so cute Cinny! My cat is scared of the washing machine, I think she think's we're going to try and chuck her in it!

So glad to hear that your girls are well NIM :D Is Dinah still in hospital? Have they given a timeline on how long Grace (who, by the way, is called Little Gracie in my head! :)) will be in the NICU? The pics on FB are so cute, she's just so teeny tiny but perfect; it's difficult to tell just how small she is though, how 'tall' (long?!) is she? :)

I'm just well brave Ruby  Or a bit stupid :o They're getting really tired by the evening now so I'm doing the thing that my Nana used to do, 'Resting my eyes' and ending up asleep! :o

Oh and Cinny, I saw The Hunger Games at the weekend, you seen it yet?! Going to read the book/s now :D

Sounds like Grace is doing so well! :) And I'm so glad Dinah's getting on well too. Second Birdie, any idea what kind of time frame you're looking at for her?

I can't help calling her Little Gracie (in an irish accent!) in my head either, hoping NIM and Dinah don't mind the nickname :o

I haven't! Zig was all excited to see it, but I'm can't figure out if I'm bothered or not?

I love the 'resting my eyes' line, Birdie! Haven't heard that since my Brother used to fall asleep on car journeys and use it as his excuse :D

Happy everyone likes Ryder's cuteness :D He's sleeping under the little sofa at the moment, but he's only got a handful of weeks left being able to fit under there so I'm leaving him to it. We're off to my Grandad's later so he can tire himself out running around the garden.
