Thanks, Birdie! Had a lovely day, although I upset my Dad because I had some flowers delivered from 'Mum and Dad' and automatically assumed my Mum had arranged it, so called her up to say thanks and she didn't have a clue what I was going on about! But lets be fair, for the past 21 years my Dad has never picked a present for me.

Thinking of you Dinah and NIM and got everything crossed that she gets growing! My friend had her baby 14 weeks early weighing 1lb 14oz, she is now 6 months old and doing great!

Eyes are still a little up and down Poddle, yesterday they were sh-t hot! Had a check-up and my sight was 20/20 in the right, left was a little behind due to some bruising that's still going down but I felt great, no pain, great vision. I think spending all day back at work in front of a PC took a toll though as today they're a bit sore and scratchy again and vision is a touch blurry at times. I was told that it'd fluctuate like this for the next week or so though so I'm not too worried, just keep putting drops in! I was so bored on Wednesday after having it done as I couldn't open my eyes (as in, was too painful to open them for any longer than a couple of minutes when putting my drops in and any light felt like I was staring at the sun!), I was in bed for 7! I'm already pretty amazed with it though, keep walking around with OH and reading signs out loud just because I can! :cool:

That was lovely of your Dad to get you flowers Cinny, if my Dad had done that for me I'd have assumed that they'd have come from my Mum too! Did you get nice presents? Did you get anything off Ryder?!

Grace is a beautiful name and it sounds as though she is doing well, hope you are both OK too.

What did you get up to yesterday Cinny? Lovely sunny day for celebrating! My Pops never knows what my birthday present is, he doesn't even pretend anymore! But he is good for the general Dad stuff (car trouble, DIY emergencies etc!).

Haha! I was like that when I first got contacts. So pleased for you though, haven't you been wanting it for a while? I know OH wants it done.

I did! My Sister's American brought over a small shops worth of Jello that I was mocking him for, but then it turned out he spent his last day here making me a big rainbow jelly Then everyone else just got me the typical Cinny 'stuff' Yankee Candles, Soap and Glory bits, new perfume, wrestling DVDs. I was very spoilt! My Grandparents gave me some money, I normally waste Birthday money but used this to buy a Pauls Boutique bag as I've been wanting one for yeeears, and it'll be a good thing to have for years as what my Grandparents 'got me' for my 21st! My Kenwood was part Santaday part Birthday but OH also got me a Game of Thrones iPhone case, and a packet of salt and vinegar crunchy sticks. Because as ever, we're classy.

Birdie - glad the surgery went well, must be amazing to be able to see without glasses.

It was Poppy's first 'parents evening' yesterday. She has only been there 2 weeks and apparently is already leading all the other babies into mischief haha. They said she is very active and gets everywhere and always managed to get everyones attention on her.
