    October Goals

    Starnac - October
    - make 3 Christmas presents will start this once I have finished knitting DD's hat
    - have nursery finished for when baby is born DH painting it this weekend :j
    - compare and switch gas and electric not done this yet :o
    - earn £4 from VO to qualify for next voucher (am saving my amaz*n vouchers to buy DH a kindle for his birthday) £2 earned and added to my total
    - save extra £100 on top of regular payment to savings account.

some progress made although reading through my goals I should probably have more debt busting goals on there. I have let this slide recently after paying off 66% of our total debt this year. :o We are so close and I can't afford to let it slip.

Dinah I may be adding some more onto this list if that's okay??
    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200

Nim that would be great - am keen to get back into MSs and would be delighted if it could make free money for you too. Only ever did shops with RE but think I registered for BARE but there were no jobs in my area. HTH

Not a fan of Steps here - makes me feel old but I was too cool for all that by the time they came out!

Tete - I'm 30! I had my cool phase when I was a teenager then massively regressed into cheesy pop goodness :o

Those are two of the best for referral fees.
RE have merged with an american firm so work should be VERY thick on the ground with them soon. I've had about £300 out of them since I came back from NY.

Where are you based Lara? Bare seem to have a LOT of work going around at the moment.

Ahh, shame - perhaps because I didn't fully subscribe with BARE it might work. I am based in East London. There's some stuff on RE but so difficult to get hold of it - you have to keep the screen on all day and refresh every half an hour to get jobs. Also because I don't have a car, I can only do jobs within cycling distance, or else all the profits are eaten up by bus / tube fares. By the time I spend £4.40 going into town and back there's no profit from a sandwich shop :(

I'll send you a link for Bare then. React are screaming for people in london and are the only company who pay mileage (at 17ppm) and parking as standard. I'll check to see if they do a referral scheme for you.

Might make sense if you PM me an email address. I've actually set up an email acount exclusively for dealing with all my MS work, makes life easier for me.

Few interesting conversations going on here. Every year a woman I work with has a halloween party and this year we have to dress up. So I'm going along with the Mexican Dias dos los muertos thing and painting a sugar skull on my face. I have a black lace dress to wear and a mini mantilla veil (I used to be into weird gothy/alternative/dressing up stuff) and I've got a long black wig. Think I might have to make sure I get a lift with someone from work because if I turn up on my own, they won't know it's me with face paint and a wig on!

Was thinking about starting some MS so might PM you for some info NIM.

Hi everyone, sitting here watching the Ellen show on Really still in my jammies because I'm waiting for a courier to deliver...sausages. That's right, my dad ordered some sausages from a butcher in Rothbury (where they go on holiday most years). I can't have a bath or anything because they will arrive while I'm washing my hair.

Oh and by the way I passed my MSc :) And as one of my friends put it on Twitter - I am now a Mistress of Science!

Their frozen, didnt know you did waitressing gigs, its not a bad idea though, wonder if theres any call for irish waiters in these here parts.

I did a fair few over the summer. Cash in hand deals *ahem* But no, it was fun. Only problem with being a young and apparently attractive girl is pervy men. I was at a family one and attracted the attention of an Italian man who kept telling me he'd 'have me' which was kind of alarming. Look into bar tending things, or just put word out there. Sure you'll get some bites! A guy I know who all the girls swoon over (personally I couldn't see it!) did the whole topless waiter thing for extra money.

Haha true! Just heard they are at the o2 on her birthday lol. I am more interested in making her a take that fan anyway :D.

I have my ticket for when they're in Sheffield :D Will be nice to see them not plastered in body glitter like 10 years ago. My Sister used to basically take a bath in that stuff!

I'm sure you'll look awesome all day of the dead, Ruby! Whenever I read it in the 'official' language I just think of Lizzie McGuire! I'd actually love a day of the dead skull tattoo while we're on the subject. But I also want a pin up girl, roses, alice in wonderland style poison bottles, script ect that it's on a very long list!

That really blows Birdie :( Poor girl! Hope you're feeling better soon. Don't stress the laptop, just relax in your jammies and watch movies!
