    Hi,

Dinah - I am sure baby will be fine, don't scare yourself watching things like that! Can't believe we will know whether its a boy or girl so soon!

Cinny- lovely to see you around again :). The best voucher sites i find are opinion world (you have to check for surveys but there are quite a lot) and valued opinions. I think you already do the scanning shopping don't you?

I had 5 mums and babies round yesterday afternoon. Poppy and one of her little friends were being the michevious ones as always. I made a victoria sponge that went down well.

I got paid over the weekend (should be last maternity pay)and was actually more than i thought would be.Need to check payslip but am guessing because of bank holidays getting paid. If is all correct the extra will be going in savings which will help out in april when we will be very tight on money.

    Linkey for Tshirt?

It was a teefury one, so was only on sale for a day. This is it though. Too many feels to hold for that book at the moment, Mr Martin is a bit of a penis.

Thanks Wendz, I'll look them up this afternoon! Fingers crossed your wages were right, are you looking forward to getting back to work?

I am in a way as will be nice to have some time to myself and will be nice to use my brain again! Will be strange leaving Poppy though but I am sure we will both get used to it.

My boss just sent over his response to the complaint I had to deal with last week... and forgot to actually attach his response. So now I'm on tenderhooks waiting to see what he wrote. I really hope it comes across strongly that I didn't do anything wrong, and equally importantly that I made the correct decision.

I think the tv is just out to get me to be honest - decided to stick something on that was so far removed from babies 'sun, sex and suspicious parents' - where parents spy on their 18 year old children on their first holiday with their mates, I'm not worrying any more but my holiday need has kicked in again big time. Next year at least I know I'm getting a week of sun, as my cousin is getting married in (I think) Cyprus... may be Crete though.

Feeling good today thanks Cinny, slept loads to make up for the last few awful nights. Midwife appt this afternoon, hopefully bp is still down (and hopefully we get to listen to the heartbeat again, that's always my favourite bit!) but even if not SCAN TOMORROW! So excited, it should be a great birthday.

I would have thought that programme would put you off going on holiday hehe.

I loved listening to the heartbeat too. Scan will be lovely tomorrow , is amazing how much they look like a baby at 20 weeks.

Have you got anything else planned for your birthday?

Certainly puts me off going to the party destinations, in this instance Kos. But all the beautiful sunshine in the nice leafy places they put the parents... that I could handle :D

I think NIM has birthday plans, but I don't know what. From what I can gather we're going to the scan, then to buy our first pink or blue outfit, at some point during the day we're meeting my brother for coffee or lunch, and then dinner with my parents and granddad on the evening. But he seems really excited about my birthday, which means there is a surprise inside him that's dying to get out.
