I'm too much of a worrier not to be on a fix atm, I'd be a lot more willing to take the risk if the next year wasn't going to be so tight. I do flirt looking at trackers and things but I always come right back to the security of a fix.

Oh I'm with you there, we're definitely going to be fixing again, but it'll be at a lower rate that we're currently on. Wouldn't be happy not knowing exactly how much I'm paying every month! :o

Watching a tv programme about a first time young mum who found out at her 20 week scan her baby was very severely disabled, and the show is following the babies first few months. Why in the name of all things holy did I think it was a good idea to watch this 2 days before my abnormality scan?!

Step (or waddle) away from the TV! :p

I'm still quite tickled by how many bras you ordered! Wonder what the packing people thought!

Both companies emailed me, it made me feel really guilty! They both had a couple not in stock they offered to order from the manufacturer. I'm glad I did though and didn't let the guilt overcome me as 14 styles, and a total of 23 bras between lots of sizes and only 1 fits properly! The really gutting thing is I'll probably have to do this whole charade again in a few weeks - I'm sure I'm going to get myself blacklisted from several maternity undies sites.

On the plus side the very poorly baby didn't die, on the downside he's still a very poorly baby having fits, can't walk, can't see clearly etc. I had a good bawl, I don't think I'm going to sleep well again until after the scan, unless it's hormones not nerves keeping me awake. Got 4 1/2 hours last night and I don't actually feel all that tired.

Urgh, if we re-mortgage I need to find a new IFA... maybe it can wait a few months instead.

hmm re mortgaging sounds good if you can get out of yourr current deal! how long does the current one have left on it? I know what you mean about fixing I obviolusly rent so am not in that position yet but I think it would make me feel happier knowing we can afford it and it wouldn't suddenly change on me :)
Going to try and move my last isa today but its such an effort going down to the bank ha! I am kind of near the bank though and i think its open till 8 so its not really that hard! I need to just pull my finger out I think!

Have a fab day and I'll check in later!

Your little peanut will be fine. Don't get yourself too worked up. Glad the neck is a little better!

How's everyone today? It's OH's payday so I've just completed the money shuffle. All our accounts look pretty happy but the car one is bugging me, we took £285 out of it this month, plus whatever my MOT is today, and put £30 back in :o So Feb will be trying to get that all plump again. Decided to get my tush back on Toluna for vouchers - are there any other good sites? I know Wendz is a demon with her voucher stash! Wanting to start back up on STP with it being instant money n'all but between all my other jobs when I have 10 minutes I just want a cuppa and my kindle!

Had the strangest dream last night, OH had died and the dream was just me, crying hysterically, cleaning his tomb and quoting George RR Martin :undecided trying to figure out the hidden meanings!

Hidden meanings? Clearly I'm not that far in...or was this just dream cinny?

Either way the guy is a genius! This is one of the few series I've read that hooked me like Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time" series.

Dreamt I broke the cats jaw last night. She'd picked up a habit of biting to I decided to hold her jaws open, only I opened them a bit too far and heard a crack...not fun.

Maybe it is telling you that even in your dreams you're a drama queen of clean who reads too much fantasy?! ;)

Hope you get the refund for all of the bras quickly Dinah, that's a lot of money to have in limbo! Can't believe only one fits!

Still have 2 years 2 months to run on the current deal, but it still looks like it just might be worth it. It's difficult without getting the house revalued to be honest. Based on the price of some of the 4 beds it might only be worth about £175,000, but based on how much the bungalows are going for it could be £195,000.

    1. Sort out present box
    2. Wrap up next order which is going back
    3. List bras, bin, bundle womens clothes and anything else I find not in the big bags
    4. Answer ebay questions
    5. Package up all Amazon/ebay parcels sold over the weekend

What book are you on, NIM? I'm just half way into Clash of Kings. But I'm pretty hooked, it's even expanded my wardrobe. Sporting a 'Direwolves of Winterfell' tee today!

Sounds about right :D I need to lay off the fangirling really.

Good luck with your list today, Dinah! How're you feeling?
