Hmmm I can't decide what it'll be. I thought it might be a boy earlier but now I'm leaning towards girl. It is very exciting! :D

Good news about the extra pay Wendz :)

Hope the work complaint thingy paints you in a good light Dinah!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Work complaint was pretty good, it didn't at any point indicate I had acted wrongly (although did suggest that if my colleague did the things the complainant said he did, then he DID make a mistake). One part of it I don't quite think my manager understood what I'd said so I tried to clarify, but overall I think it is written as I hoped.

  • I'm guessing a boy!
My grandma passed away yesterday so lots going on here sorting things out, selfishly I'm glad it's now and not while I'm away.

Def could not do that living situation you describe Birdie! I reckon I'd feel so bad for the land lady I'd be offering to share my bed with them!

  • Thanks everyone, she was a couple of years shy of a 100 so had a good long life! And she went very peacefully in her sleep. She'd been very muddled recently but my last visit with her was a good one :) I've only been to a friends funeral before which was hundreds of people and overwhelmingly sad, hoping this will be more of a small celebration of a life well lived.
