That does sound like a lot of travelling.Poppy is quite happy to sleep in the car (she is another one that loves sleeping while moving) but not for that long. When we went up to the lake district she slept for about 3 hours then we stopped , fed her etc then she cried for about an hour until we stopped again and eventually slept for the last bit. The way back was worse as we got stuck in traffic.
Babies do need a lot of stuff even with bfing so i never have to take the bottles etc.0 -
1. Print and wrap boxes for Amazon and music magpie Amazon needs resubmitting to get a new label, music magpie is done and has gone with NIM
[STRIKE]2. Wrap amazon sold book and check nothing on risi needs sending[/STRIKE]
3. Finish listing everything in the lounge and tidy it all away Mostly done, about 4 listings still to do. Everything done is tidied though
4. Write Hilton complaint email
[STRIKE]5. Photograph and upload pics of ebay things I listed last night but it was too dark to photo[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]6. Read NIMs jobs notes for the home delivery mystery shop[/STRIKE]
For tomorrow so I don't forget:
Get NIM to update the spreadsheet with our real numbers now we're not hiding the babyDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh Dinah I wish I could help you but I have no idea about babies! Sorry!
I don't really know if we would be able to save that much, we haven't really thought about it before but although we have quite high outgoings because we're in London we both have ok jobs and we can be careful if we think about it.. I dont know really but perhaps we'll see! I'll suggest it to him and see what he thinks! there are a few things that need sorting first before we start this saving but perhaps that would be a good job for the weekend!
I never realised you spend over £1k on debts each month! that's loads!!! Imagine how amazing it will be when its all paid off!0 -
Erm, actually I've just realised our debts are £140 higher than even that. Although only around half of that figure is the minimum payments, the other £600 or so is overpayment. But aye, it should be fantastic to have it all gone. I can't sleep so I've just been doing some fantasy figures. Even by my best estimates I can't see a way we'll have the car loan gone before the baby comes, and at best we'll only have the one credit card, but still with over £7000 on it. I better find a box full of gold ingots in that attic amongst all the 99p ebay tat, that's all I can say.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I'm sure the way things are going and with your determination, you'll definitely have a large chunk paid off by the time the baby comes.
Today (wednesday) is pay day and the stupid idiots have messed everyone's pay up. The whole ward missed out on our enhancements (extras for doing nights, weekends, bank holidays and the like) so we're all a little bit screwed. Apparently we'll be getting cheques in the post in a week for the extra little bits, but until then I have £58 in the bank after paying rent and bill money to the folks, my standing order savings deposits coming out and everything else. Was planning on doing my Pass Plus driving course this week but haven't got the money to pay for it. Oh and the bushes need replacing on my front suspension. And the car needs servicing. And I need to renew my AA cover. So lots of car relating things to do (alright on the petrol front though because I have half a tank left which is more than enough to get me to and from work). Was just looking at my hours I've worked and I'll be lucky if they give me £100 to be honest. Sending off my tax rebates tomorrow for uniform and where I've paid too much tax. So things will definitely be a bit tight this month. Good job OH has already offered to organise valentines this year so I won't have to pay for anything!
ETA: Just remembered I need to buy a new Young Persons railcard before the 7th February so I can actually use my ticket...there's £28 down the drain already, £30 left!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

Oooh yeah I second that ouch Ruby!
Just being nosey Dinah, but what are you complaining to the Hilton about?
And I hope you do find that mythical box of gold in the attic! Have you sent NIM round the garden with a metal detector just in case?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Lack of sleep. Our rooms were either side of the lifts, which have an extremely loud ping which goes off all through the blinking night. 3 of the 4 of us woke up like zombies as we'd been woken more than 10 times. I want to suggest that while I know they need the blasted ping for DDA reasons, could they possibly make it quieter during the night, or find a way to make those rooms quieter. It seems petty but we were so shattered we just set off driving home rather than going into London for the day.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ouch indeed Ruby, sounds like a tight month for you.
