Cinny, I reviewed my travel system and my car seat but they locked the reviews because "I haven't had enough experience of using them to review them" because I mentioned that I'm due 21st December. Can't believe it!!!! Hope you're well.

Mentioning your due date won't have helped tbh, have you asked if they will let you review them again after the baby is born?

But its the blanket beatings with the banhammer that made me stop doing the reviews. I think the site is run by a pack of schiesters tbh.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Morning all! I can highly recommend the Steps reunion programme :D although its quite sad to find out that they really didn't all get on that well, kind of spoils the Steps magic! I went to uni with H's brother Cinny! (tiny claim to fame) He went out with one of my housemates for a while, one of my most embarrassing moments ever was when we were all sat watching the Better the Devil you Know video on TV, doing all the hand movements whilst sitting in a line on the sofa, and he walked in on us. Needless to say he walked straight back out again! I went to see them on their Gold tour as well. I have no shame.

LOL that's so funny Shrimpy! :rotfl:

That's annoying about your reviews being removed Shopaholiski, at least you'll have them ready to go once the baby is born though! Review all the baby things now then once you're too busy to actually write the reviews you can post them and still feel like you're earning points regularly! ;)

    Hey all.

To do list has very much rolled over to today as I was shattered last night, went home, had a bath, fell asleep. Two things on the list (graph & chart and sorting the home insurance) are actually NIM jobs, I just have to nag about them!

NIM, if you don't get these done we'll start nagging you and you don't want that! ;)

I think I'm coming down with a cold, just hit me at 10 and getting steadily worse! :( Sore throat, blocked nose, headache, dizzy... just want to curl up at home and eat stew and ginger biscuits (obviously not together!). I'm a terrible ill person, so pathetic it's embarrassing! :o

LOL, we used to do the routines to Steps too! I loved them! So did OH worryingly... I can't hear the word 'Tragedy' without lifting my hands to my head Steps Stylee!! :rotfl:

Deeper Shade of Blue was ma jam!

I'm pretty jealous of my Sister being in America for Halloween! We're going to dress the front porch a little and get some sweets in because the little kids around here go for it. I would say it's an awesome excuse to curl up and watch scary movies but erm, that's the only type of movie we really watch! Have you seen Insidious? You should get that for Halloween if not. The start is actually terrifying but the end is hilariously cheesy so it's not that bad really.

That's an awesome claim to fame Shrimpy!! :rotfl: It's ruined it a bit for me too if I'm honest. I was watching the first one screaming 'It's all H's fault! IT'S ALL HIS FAULT!' at the telly :o I still remember when I found out they were splitting. I was gutted! I still have their singles/albums somewhere - all on tape!

Noo, Birdie :( Hope it clears up a little for you. Hate when they just creep up on you in the day like that. Evil!
  • Hehe EXCELLENT idea Birdie about the reviews!

Am jealous of your winter coat birthday pressies Wendz, my birthday's in Feb which is no good - have to shell out for all my own coats and boots

Not a fan of Steps here - makes me feel old but I was too cool for all that by the time they came out!

Hope you feel better for your sleep Dinah, ready to tackle the list today!

I've given Dad a shopping list from the allotment today so will be making up some more batches of soup tonight :) Beetroot and Leek & Bacon. I'm guessing soup can be frozen even with creme fraiche in it, yes?

The parks were all done up for halloween in Florida already, they take it very seriously out there! I really wanted to go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party but it was only on certain nights and we just never seemed to get the timing right. And it was $60 each! When we go back we're going in October again and definitely doing the party and dressing up! :D

I haven't seen Insidious yet, will try to brave it!

Was moving our bookcase around the other night (and moved it back because it looked rubbish!) and found Step One buried amongst the cds and had a little smile! I remember the Christmas that I got it, my brother bought it for me and I found it a few weeks before so whenever he was out I snuck into his room and listened to it then put it bag in the hiding place! :)

Lets just say I freeze soup with crème fraiche, milk and cream in and I've never had an issue. Milk and cream themselves certainly freeze, so I would think crème fraiche would react in a similar way.

Still shattered today actually - seems I have a small cold as I was making a weird whistling noise when I slept that kept waking me up! Tonight is my night off of the week though as I have glass class, hoping to get home a bit early though so I can get some bits done before I go out.

  • I thought so thanks Dinah, just that the recipe didn't say one way or the other. How is glass class going, what are you making?

Gah, Wendz you got me thinking about coats - I said before I was waiting for the 20% discount at Topshop - I'd been told it would start the 7th October but went in yesterday and nothing so just googled it and it seems it was only on for four days! How stingy is that? The Topman one's been on for about a month! I'm so annoyed with myself for missing it but I just haven't had the time workwise to go into town every day just to check. Sigh. I guess now at least I can wait for payday and am not struggling to pay for it now. SOB!
