Blimey rising you have some amazing amount of food.
If I was you but Im not I would start working through some of that.
I think you said you had 56 meals so that would take you through Dec and Jan no problem at all without needing to buy too much at all.
That would make a wee dent in your OD me thinks.
Failing that I will come & raid your freezer:p

Just copied freezer lists into Word and am going to print off, stick to front of fridge door and score off things as I use them
Wonder how long that'll last!:rotfl:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

For me, it lasted nearly a month. I'm rubbish at maintaining it. I think I've got stock shops sorted by adding my 2 "extra months" - still within my annual target but freezer stock list is one to chalk up to miserable failures:o
Ooh yes, I thought you could do something with leeks and cooked turkey, possibly a slice of ham as a "pie" filling in a thickened sauce - if you can't have pastry you could just have it with rice or layered with pasta or sheets of leek flattened out like a sort of lasagne without the pasta - I can't remember if you are allowed pastry, pasta or potatoes but the basic combo would work with any alternative
Take care

Dont worry too much about the weather with that amount of food honestly.I can't believe how much is stuffed in them!
Decided to go with using 1/2 ..... thinking of bad weather & there being no deliveries / not able to get the car out for 4 weeks in the bad winter!
I would be panicing if I let them get too empty!Suffolk_lass wrote: »Ooh yes, I thought you could do something with leeks and cooked turkey, possibly a slice of ham as a "pie" filling in a thickened sauce - if you can't have pastry you could just have it with rice or layered with pasta or sheets of leek flattened out like a sort of lasagne without the pasta
Ohhhh that's a fab idea - there is def a packet of pastry in there - and missing from the list somehow :o
Does anyone watch Nigel Slat*ter on the Beeb? He did a fab pie with leeks, ham & chicken the other week (and it was freezable once made)
Thanks SL - another few meals sorted!!:T

Will see how it goes - thinking if I can keep enough stuff to last a fortnight out of the "can eat" stuff, then hopefully by the time the bad weather comes (which they're saying is going to be January), I'll be able to have the odd thing off the "can't eat" list - eeeeking it out to a month(ish).
I'm going through more proper meals atm as can't bulk things out / have veg so often have something for lunch that would've been a main meal bulked out IYKWIM - so it may not last as long anyway.:(What was your mental picture of me?
