I attach my list of stock up items to the side of the fridge with a magnet and just write things on as they occur. Got everything except the jumbo oats today (different sm) so they go on the next list so it's ready made by the time I go stock-up shopping. I'm sure you just bought a book for lists though...
SLSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Hurrah you for day 50 :T
and I second shifting the car tax by 6 months - did this with mine last year as otherwise the service, MOT, insurance and breakdown all landed within the same 2 months! It gave me a little breathing space to get the pots set up and leaves you a tad more flexibility.
BTW I have AutoAid breakdown and was just recommending it to a friend today, they were completely fab when I used them last year. I know there are other deals if you have Clubcard etc but I think £38 flat fee is amazing considering how good they were and that it covers home starts etc.
OMG you're right, how was that a year ago...

Thanks all for the Day 50 thanks!:) Quite chuffed .... that's nearly 1/7th of a year .... sounds much longer that waySuffolk_lass wrote: »I attach my list of stock up items to the side of the fridge with a magnet and just write things on as they occur.
I do that too!
I keep a separate list for "stock" and "need now" things - when I go to the SM, I take both but only buy the stock things if on good offers..... if it gets to a point where I need them - they get transferred to the "need now" list:)Suffolk_lass wrote: »I'm sure you just bought a book for lists though...
That I certainly didand you've given me an idea that I could actually use this for when I start getting the frozen veg ...
I will only be going up there max of once a month so could start a list on the appointment page (back of to do list) for whichever Sat I'll be going as doubt I'll use that much at the weekends!:TRosaBernicia wrote: »I second shifting the car tax by 6 months - did this with mine last year as otherwise the service, MOT, insurance and breakdown all landed within the same 2 months! Breakdown cover would also have been due in Feb too  but new car comes with 5 years breakdown cover * :T (they've changed it as previous car - which was the same - only had 1 year). Think I'll def do 6 months tax and split them up  * Just as well as the tax has jumped from £30 to either £100 or £120 so it'll offset some of that cost!RosaBernicia wrote: »BTW I have AutoAid breakdown and was just recommending it to a friend today, they were completely fab when I used them last year. to check that it doesn't automatically renew!:T

They're good - big mog seems OK and I am wondering if he just doesn't get on with that flavour of food as I've a feeling he's not been keen on it before. Little mog is very sweetly nosing my face in the middle of the night and purring which although cute is frankly driving me mad as it wakes me up, so am hoping she will calm down soon. Her tummy still isn't quite sorted so am going to pick up some Butchers this week and try them on that for a while. It's half the price of the Bozita and easier to get hold of so would be good if they do OK on it.
Not sure if the Feliway has affected how they get along or if it's just better over time and having something to spray around has a placebo effect on me :rotfl:

could be ... fingers crossed he's OK tomorrow.

Awwwwwwbig cat's slept with me since he was tiny (I hand reared him from 4.5 weeks - so he was really just a wee dumpling:cool:) - he sleeps on the other pillow, tucked up into my neck:) and purrs away like a train when I first go to bed.
Since they've started having their errrr disagreements in the last week - he's taken up residence in the spare room and I find it really hard to sleep with out him- it's too quiet!

Fingers crossed ..... I think I might've found a wet food they'll both eat :j - had tried just about everything, mainly as I really want her to eat some wet as really don't like them having dry only.
Bozita can have that affect on some unfortunately - wee cat will eat a bit of it it but she doesn't eat enough of it to get through the whole pak before it goes off .... big cat won't touch it!:p
Big cat is just as fussy but there is the odd thing that he'll eat - and miraculously a multi-pak of Whis*kas where he'll eat all the flavours!
Fingers crossed - any typically, I opened it and thought "OMG they'll never eat that" to find that both of them seem to like it!
Of course, now that I've ordered some more - they'll probably not touch the next lot when it arrives:eek::mad::rotfl:

Hoping to put it towards a new Dy*son .... mine's getting on a bit (hand me down from DM) and is really heavy and doing the stairs is impossible.
So ... this is what I really want ..... *sigh* - it really is fab as it's so light & easy to use ......

Anyway, off the mark with £5.35 today
well done on 50 days great achievement
dotty aunty jean has one of them now that she is unable to do any real heavy lifting, it's quite a good machine tbh, i think its more suitable as a back up .quick fix rather than a good deep hoover, but it is good and cant say anything bad about it so far0 -
Ohhhhh please can everyone keep their fingers crossed ......
Hopefully going to DMs for another night tomorrow (she's going to pick me up & bring me back again Mon) but she was on the phone earlier saying they'd got snow  (and obviously I don't want her coming if the roads are going to be awful).

Thank you
DM has one so I've had a try and been quite impressed.
As you say, not a really deep clean (so would probably keep the old one to do that maybe once a week) - but to go round the house quickly everyday .... and get rid of the hair  ...... absolutely fab!fingers and toes crossed for you
Yup ... been really looking forward to seeing her!
I'm chuckling now though, as she moults more than any dog we've ever had - and, having had 8 Labs between us, that's saying something!:)
I did wonder if it was me thinking she was bad but with her being at DMs just now (in full moult) - she's saying the same thing.
She lies on the floor and when she gets up, there is literally an outline where's she's been :rotfl:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
