Hi there, the cup is a USA mesurement I got some from a local cook shop in Lichfield, and they are really easy to usemoney the root of all evil...... bring it on... :cool:0

Just made some of these and they are yummy! I used a third of all the brownie mix ingredients and the cups I used were small. I didnt have 'walnut sized balls' though, it was just sort of blobs in my tray which baked to biscuits. Not sure if that was how they were supposed to end up but they tasted like brownie cookies as I added chocolate chunks to mine too....heaven!0

I add a teaspoon of vanilla essence and chocolate chips to the mixture when making cookies up. They taste great just like Millies cookies!!0

I used baking paper - no problems here (last batch of cookies was made with chunks of walnuts and whole hazlenuts left over from Christmas, with chunks of Asda value chocolate - yummy, like Cadbury's (?) Boasters)Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Hi was thinking of making some of these. What flour do we use plain or SR? Would it not be SR if using baking powder? Thanks can't wait to try as they sound yummy.:T:smileyhea:heart: Mrs Lea Nov 5th '11

I made a batch of these a few days ago and they are yummy! I have to admit to eating quite a few!
I used the cup from my bread machine for measuring and added chocolate chips.
As theres quite a bit of mixture I'll be doing some more soon I expect!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Angelina-M wrote:Well I gave them a go and they were lovely! Thanks for the recipe.
Only problem I had was that they really stuck to the silicone sheet I baked them on. Did everyone else leave them until cold to move them?
it was trial and error but I found that it was best to leave them for a couple of mins before transferring to the cooling rack. I might try greaseproof paper next time.Do what you love :happyhear0 -

Thanks taplady.
I think next time I will bake them without the silicone sheet as they stuck quite badly. I tried transferring half of them, then gave up and left the other until cool. It was marginally easier but it left the cookies looking ragged on the bottoms and I like the kids to think im a perfect baker lol!:A0
