LOL! I see what you mean. I got 4 batches out of my mix- maybe I was over generous with the ingredients!

  • Well, they are yummy and very definitely approved by the family. Only thing is I have to go and buy a bigger Addis container to keep the rest of the mix in - it barely fitted in my mixing bowl:D

We're always on the lookout for recipes with oil instead of butter - so many thanks:beer:

Is it not possible to just make up enough mix for one batch instead of making loads of dry ingredients?

If so, what amount of ingredients would be looking at please?

I'd like to give them a go but theres no way i'd ever get through all that!

Eta, i've just noticed the original poster is my flour milling friend! So did you use half freshly milled flour and half store bought plain flour?

Well I gave them a go and they were lovely! Thanks for the recipe.

Only problem I had was that they really stuck to the silicone sheet I baked them on. Did everyone else leave them until cold to move them?
  • Ok - stupid question alert.

When you say '1 cup'. Is that literally one cup - like a mug i use for tea??
