My apologies too, as I thought you were replying to the hijacker in post 17, rather than to the OP.

  • I'm afraid that post 17 didn't even 'register on my radar'....

    Hi

I need a broadband deal only. Dont want phone or tv or anything else. Any suggestions please.

Are you in a virginmedia area? Cable broadband is available without phoneline.
  • I'm with Talk Talk purely for cost reasons (they're the cheapest for phone and broadband for my needs) If I could justify the cost I'd go with BE as the connection was so much faster and reliable. They don't have a UK call centre but the support team were really helpful and sorted out the odd connection issue when I moved over to them.

If money is no object then go with Zen Internet- we use them at work and they're just fantastic- but they are not cheap.

As for Talk Talk, it's fine as long as you don't have any issues, but you try and contact their support department and you'll regret it. Thankfully I haven't had any issues.

Their online support isn't bad. Their phone support is frustrating but gets there eventually. Overall they are very good value, I certainly wouldn't pay double the price as some others charge just to get slightly better CS.
