Does anyone have any experiences with these providers. I am drawn to Plusnet I think but the 60mb cap concerns me as I am used to unlimited. We do not have a TV, so listen to loads of music on spotify and watch about 1.5 hours tv a day on iplayer/itv player on average. We often stream radio too.We do not play video games or anything on it. Any advice?
With PlusNet downloading is free after midnight. What I do is download all the BBC tv programmes I like, which isn't that many from iPlayer onto WMP and then I can watch them anytime for up to 30 days after broadcast. You can't download with ITV player (AFAIK) but you can still stream most of their programmes for free after midnight. If you listen to internet radio stations 60MB should last you a fair while during a month as long as you are selective and don't keep it running fuil time. Otherwise if a show is on DAB listen on a DAB radio instead.

utility warehouse, been with them 2 years never had a problem. £25 for unlimited broadband and line rental.

Uk based call staff as well. :T
The company who shall not speak its name is a reseller of Talk Talk.

OP You have yet to list the LLU options at your exchange.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

It's cheaper going to TalkTalk direct. I pay under £20 a month.

Broadband is exchange specific, so universal recomendations are not possible. Do an exchange search and tell us your LLU options.
Do you already have a working line in order to get ADSL broadband? You have to pay line rental whether you want a phone service or not.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

BE* are absolutely superb. They do not have UK call center staff, but I have never found that an issue (for one thing I have only ever had reason to call them once in the four years I've been with them ...).

    Steve

I'm a happy BE customer too - they may not be the cheapest but their broadband is truly unlimited and with no traffic shaping. When I switched from BT to BE earlier this year my download speed doubled and my upload speed tripled. I have had no problems at all with the service and when I sent a query about the router delivery date via their support ticket system it was promptly, politely and comprehensively answered.

It's pointless recommending BE (or indeed any other LLU supplier) until the poster confirms what LLU options are available to them.
All they have said so far is 'I want a broadband deal'. Not a lot to go on there.

My apologies. As OP had listed BE as one of their 'contenders' in their opening post I had presumed they had already checked it was an available option at their exchange but you are quite right that it is not possible to offer a full opinion about all the options if you don't have all the facts available.

For that reason all I was attempting to do in my post was to give my personal experience of BE as a provider - not to give an opinion on any other options that may be open to the OP.
