  • Had a brilliant day today, we moved onto cuts!
So come september, we should have covered everything itl just be getting on with passing everything we have been taught!

Was lsd, bottle of water @ 60p, I normally bring my own but my bottle had been well over used!

DD's dresses from ebay arrived, she was delighted, as was I. They are just below her knees, so should fit her next summer too, as all of last summers were below her knees and now are just above.

I am exhausted today, college always takes it out of me, but along with the hayfever tablets Im just like a zombie. THe non drowsy ones dont work, even these didnt wipe it out completely but did knock the edge off.

Anyway, off to crash out for a bit, trying to keep awake so I dont wake too early on my day off!

    Hi DF,
When you talk about your course it makes me want to join one! :D You always sound so excited about it.

A little hayfever tip, if you have a farm shop near you which sells local honey then get some of that and eat a little bit each day. Local honey is meant to work like a type of immunisation as your body is given a small steady amount for it to get used to which stops the over reaction of an allergy.

Your DD must be feeling very lucky with her new big girl bed and summer dresses.

I hope you start feeling better soon. Hayfever is really rough.

    Hi DF,
Another thing I do, which is like SwagBucks is superpoints. I've looked on there and it's by invite/referral only, so here's my referral link for you:
    http://superpoints.com/refer/MuffinTops

Feel free to ignore this if you want to, although I do find it a bit easier than swagbucks for accummulating points.

  • I am enjoying it, I kind of wished it was on more often in the week, it feels like being back at work to me, I really do love it!

Ohh Il have to try that, havent heard it before!!

I have to remind dd all the time re her bed, everytime she is naughty I threaten to send it back to the shop...she hasnt worked out that I actually cant send it back now.

Im still so pleased about her dresses cant believe I had almost forgotten how good ebay could be, not including postage it works out at 67p per dress!!! And postage was cheaper than what it would have been had I ordered from Asda/tesco etc!

My home smells lovely today, well atm, thanks to shake & vac, just wish the fresh smell could last long. Ive tried everything, essential oils, oil burner, sprays, incense, candles, they all work for a while then fade. My home doesnt smell nasty when they fade, it just smells of nothing, & I love nice smells.

Nothing planned for today, got a bit of housework to do, nothing major!

Just a quick message - have you tried air freshener plug ins? They work really well! I use them in my hallway and they waft around the whole house. I have to switch them off after a while when I need a rest from it. I'm not sure about electricity cost on them, but I do love my home smelling so fresh and nice and my electric bill has never been large.
  • Il have to try them Muffin. My nan used them when I was a teenage but they always triggered my headaches, so I havent been brave to try them out again!

It might be that I need to put them in the hall, not in the room Im in, and switch it off now and again like you.

I signed up to superpoints, havent worked out how to make many points yet, Im only up to 10 I think!

Thanks for signing up with the link. Most days all I do is go to Get Points and SuperLucky Button. Otherwise you can watch videos etc and anything else they have under the GetPoints menu. They may also send you an email each day which will give you points.

I can't have the plug in set up in a room I'm in a lot, unless it's a menthol one. But having it in the hall makes the whole downstairs smell lovely. x

  • Just got back from dentist, no work needed woohoo, he was pretty impressed at my teeth, no signs of anything needing doing anytime soon.

He gave me a free sample of colgate sensitive as Im starting to get a couple react to cold drinks. He said he couldnt see a reason for it, no impending fillings or anything. Anyway I love freebies!

On supersavvyme today they are offering samples of that new colgate one that is supposed to be closest to what the dentists use for polishing.

Im not sure if I posted I got a free sample of batiste dry hair shampoo. Never tried it til I got that its brilliant! Cant believe I never tried it before. Im a member of bzz agents and you get picked for trials, they send out the product normally for yourself & samples to pass around. You review online, take photos if applicable. The main reward is getting to keep the freebie, but also they give tesco club card points for certain actions eg reporting back, photos, tweeting etc. They dont have huge amounts of projects, & you have to wait to be selected. The more you do and the better you are, the more you get offered & get first refusal before offering to newbies like me.

College finishes next week for the summer, dd still has a couple of weeks after that at nursery, then its the holidays! Oh the joys, I get a money head ache when thinking of summer holidays, even if we dont actually go away things just cost so much money.

Im debating a getting a guinea pig for dd.....we really miss our dog and we cant adopt a new dog as we are in a flat, cats I love but cant risk the damage to carpets, so after speaking to a few of the mums at college with older children, they all recommended guinea pigs.....Its not a decision I need to make in a hurry, so I have plenty of time to really look into it....starting today!
