  • I didn't have a NSD yesterday, I went to a bloggers event and ended up staying out after and buying £20 worth of drinks.

    The spend doesn't end there.

I came back to the flat, and somehow have managed to knock my phone into a washing up bowl full of water, without realising I'd done it. I was tearing the house upside down looking for it but couldn't find it. Cancelled the phone, went to bed. Rang up this morning, was told it would be £415 for a new one! I asked for just the sim to be sent out to me, went to put my cup in the sink.... ARGH there's my phone!!! Rang back and they offered me a new one, as long as I hand this back for £173. I went for it.

I shouldn't I know, but I love my phone, I use it all the time, the camera in it and the ipod, thinking I'd have to buy a PAYG phone then pay for it to be unlocked, then buy and ipod and then a camera - it kind of made sense to get a new one.

I think this is a call for me to stop drinking so much, I should never have stopped out, I should have gone home when I had the chance. I'm an idiot.

At £173, I would have thought it would have been a bit stronger than "kind of"... ;)

All of this is just with the benefit of hindsight. The problem with that is that is *no* help towards the future. Hindsight says to me 07 12 27 34 41 46 & 14 and that is all well and good, but that will not make me a millionaire on saturday. What you have to think of is (at least):
    • How often is too often?
    • How much is too much?
    • Is it worth doing it on a school night?

There is no harm in you doing things in moderation.

  • Excellent advice ZTD - it's never worth doing on a school night!

I don't like them. I only have to charge my phone once a week.

  • I haven't managed many NSDs this week.

Yesterday I went to Morrisons after work and spent £12, and bought some new bits of underwear in primark for £12 too. Plus I spent £5 on travel.

I miss my company metrocard so much!

Today I've been shopping with my Mum, I fell in love with this faux fur jacket http://www.next.co.uk/x482096s1#746405x48 but I can't buy it until I've been paid at the end of November. And then I won't be able to justify spending £30 on a jacket when I'll need to buy Christmas presents. Might ask for it for Christmas.

I've spent just under £4 in Wilkinsons, face cream, 3 cans of orangina, bleach and an airfreshener and then £2 on bus fare.

I'm aiming for a NSD tomorrow!

I just made some buns, I was sent some bits of cake decorating stuff to review on my blog, so I bought eggs yesterday and used marg rather than baking butter so I didn't have to buy that. They don't look too bad :)

Right...so where's the bottom half of it?

I would have thought your Mum would have told you that you'll get cold in your kidneys... :p;)
