Sand by for a load of cut and paste to 1000s messages on POF.
Was checking half hour ago and seems their 'who viewed me' feature has gone pay only.
So i think some guys will C+P general messages just to let them know they have seen their profile.

Have a look on the pof forums there are already hundreds of messages slagging off the owners of pof for making you pay to see who has viewed you..Hope it doesnt become a match .com that lets you join to search then soon as someone sends you a message its credit card time

I just noticed that too  i suppose i should message more men then now. As others have said most of my messages I get are from balding late fourties/fifties men and i'm 35 and always get told I look young. On the other hand i do seem to attract the really young ones too. Where are the men in their thirties??????

Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.
  • Right today i went on a date.
What an absolute waste of time.

Been chatting to this guy, who was tall looked ok on his photos, ran two music sites, and was an IT guy.

Went to meet him at the big wheel in mcr, as it was my day off and i was shopping anyway. Saw this blonde woman waiting with an old bobble hatted guy.

Waited and then the bobble hatted guy came up to me and asked is it tracey? I said yes.
    OMG

Missing teeth, same eyes on the photos i saw but I suddenly realised those photos must have been twenty years old.

This guy had a parka on with tie from the 70s not even round the shirt properly, clothes looked like from a charity shop, jesus, greying hair under bobble hat, not even brushed or cut. He was dressed better for fishing or walking, scrawny neck, he looked like one of those tramps who beg for money and are with a dog. Now I shook hands with him which was ewwww and then we walked around the corner away from his woman friend and I turned round and said he looked nothing like his photos, he then said nobody looks like their photos so I replied well mine do! All my photos are from this year!

I then said Im sorry but this date is not going to happen, you were not honest and I told him there was no way he was 52.
Now Im not joking guys but this man must have been ten years older than that.

Either that or he had not looked after himself.

I should have called it off because he kept asking me for my mobile on the messages but I refused twice. He also said he didnt have a car and shared one, cars were expensive he said, he ran two music sites which when I looked again I found a photo from the 80s of him. He also said he lived in a flat, and was an IT person and worked nights.
    No kids, never married.
I should always trust my instincts.

Feel so stupid, but I laughed to myself when I was walking around shopping. When I think about it now i cant believe how gullible I was. Ha ha.

    What a funny day.

That's what I thought too :rotfl:

What a waste of time though- I'd almost feel like billing him for the time spent wasted on a pointless date!

Omg, that's the sort of thing I dread happening to me because I don't know if I'd actually be able to say anything and I'd probably end up seeing the date through because I felt bad for the guy :o
