thats actually true however there is nothing really major that im going apart from 'talking it out' which sadly inflicts more misery and talking really does not help!

im pretty much done with life tbh!

So, who'll pay your medical expenses if something happens whilst you're away? If you're serious about the Caribbean you could literally bankrupt the relative(s) you're going with as medical expenses are so high!

You may be mentally ill but there's no need to be totally irresponsible!

To fly under your current state of mind would be very irresponsible.
Not just the potential of no travel insurance with your health, but if you have a panic attack and the plane is forced to land you could find yourself in even more trouble.

May I before you book anything you check with your Doctor about travelling as sitting on a plane with the thouight of self harming in your mind is not only dangerous for you but also for the others on the flight.

I sympathise with you on your problems and if you will not listen to what others have suggested or at least consider the options then I have no further ideas.

People give you the credit of meaning what you say - until proved otherwise!

yes how would you like to be pumped full of drugs been through that have we ?

I'm sure that made perfect sense when you typed it.

Listen, to be honest I think you need to be a bit more responsible for what you do and not blame a -unamed so far (although maybe you'd like us to guess?)- medical condition or whatever/whomever else comes to your mind. And maybe stop feeling sorry for yourself and getting people to pity you by coughing up money for you to travel to get you 'away from it all' (whatever that might be I don't know but it'll be with you no matter your destination in life).

Try and fill your day with positive things too. Do a bit of volunteering perhaps and try and help others instead of being so self-centred. There's always people worse off than you.

Just make sure we all get to see your itinerary if you do decide to travel :p

And no, I do not hold any medical qualifications but I have good common sense and an even better sixth sense. Years and years of honing I can tell you.

i can afford anything i want yet i dont crave for it nor this trip as you or anyone else apart from the doc ive seen in the meantime who has ok'd it IF I FEEL i can do it, to be honest i dont need to justify myself to you or anybody i asked a simple question so instead of patronising and being snidey......

oh and it doesent matter what you hone and years and years until you experiance deaths and health issues which are crippling dont tell me ****

The doctor may have felt that you are personally safe to travel but will not have made any comment of your medical expenses abroad, your effect on other travellers and the benefit situation. These are the aspects that posters here are concerned about and threatening violence will not change this.

When we went to the dominican last year my mum paid the same amount as me for travel insurance. My dad and sister paid significantly less.

If I remember right the insurance was about £100, I needed it because I have a pacemaker and ongoing cardiac problems, mum because she had mild depression 3 years prior to the holiday, she wasn't on meds or anything.

Ironically it was dad who racked up the £15,000 medical bill when he crashed his jet ski and needed surgery to fix his leg, thankfully all covered by the insurance lol.

Could you go away in this country instead? That way you would get the break you say you need, whilst not having to worry about compromising the decision of the DLA appeal and not having the worries of medical costs if you were taken ill whilst away. You could have regular stops/breaks if you felt yourself getting anxious which you wouldn't be able to do on a plane.
