ive tried that a while ago and i just hate it to be honest i live in a town and everything is so miserable in my mind, i basically 'want out' in my mind!

List your flight times etc so we can avoid you! :D

Seriously, if you are that bad then you need hospitalised. They'll calm you down with a chemical kosh at the very least and if you are genuinely so close to the edge you should benefit from the stay.

As for welfare benefits you're not obliged to apply for them and no matter how unwell you are you must respect the process -or don't apply or just cancel and then see how you really get on.

You seem to have a grip of the situation enough to know you have a problem so maybe you need take some responsibilty for your actions. Going abroad would be pretty dumb. Start with that decision.

You hate going away in England?
Why do you think going abroad is going to be any better (apart from potentially the weather)? You don't have to visit a town, there's a wide range of places to stay and things to do.

Get yourself to Scarborough for a fortnight, that'll sort you out.

Like all the others say, going through all the stress of going abroad is the last thing you need.

Would someone be going with you.

Nah, the best place for this poster to go is a cruise across the Atlantic to America. Nothing but bl**dy water for days!!

The most boring of holidays I have ever been on.

the problem is i feel is everyone is against me and to be honest i get too paranoid i dont even go to cinemas or shopping centres etc i try and go local shopping etc but need people who i can trust and there are few people i do, some questions i get asked about my behaviour make me even more depressed!

yes i do worry about flying etc but i worry all the time anyway!

i just feel i need to get away somewhere and someone has opened the avenue for me a rare one at that!

But what about medical treatment abroad if you should need it? You won't easily get insurance for pre existing conditions and even if you have an EHIC for Europe, this won't cover all your medical costs.

What country were you planning on visiting?

thats actually true however there is nothing really major that im going apart from 'talking it out' which sadly inflicts more misery and talking really does not help!

OP, have you changed your name, or am I going completely doolally?

I could swear I was reading this thread earlier, and the name was AnxiousMum.

It's been a long & tiring shift tonight, maybe I have finally flipped.
