No, you can change it, I asked the same question. All the letters go out with Northampton County Court on them.

    Thanks!

Do I wait until (or if) it gets that far or should I mention it now? :o

    Hi
I've just checked on my claim. It is saying it is acknowledged fom todays date.

Am I right in thinking Nat West now have 28 days to decide what they want to do ( defend or pay up)?

Thanks in advance for the advice

Just filled in my claim form online and when I have printed a copy of the claim form off it says "in the Northampton County Court" but I live at Carlisle.

If there is a hearing will I be expected to go to this court or can I change it?

Northampton is the court centre used for clearing online claims. Normally the proceedings would be changed to the defendant's location rather than the applicant's.

Its not a case of MoneyClaim doing all the work, if your case ends up going to court you have to prepare your defence as does your bank.

  • If you are claiming exemption you need to go to your local court to apply and then get the forms from there rather than doing it online.
