I sent my claim details to the court and the bank when i filed my claim.
What happens now?
Any advice would settle my nerves. I am getting concerned now.
Thanks.
I wish you luck. I hope you have an easier time than me with Barclays.0 -

i somtimes wonder that entering judgement is just an other way off giving the banks extra weeks or months even to pay up .
surly if you enter judgement then that is it they must pay up as judgement as been served , as you didn't even acknowlage the claim.
so why are they allowed to file a defence after judgement ?
you miseaswell just dispence with it all together
as they can still enter ,surly thats why you enter judgement because they didnt in the first place . i sometimes wonder if this is done than the courts would run alot quicker, as itthen wouldent be passed from one court to an other, just gives them more time (banks that is ) we have a very long winded system and i wonder which side they are on:rolleyes: ITS A FAR BETER THING I DO NOW THAN I HAVE EVER DONE BEFORE

Yes I completely agree here, I don't think it's our side
The last day for Lloyds to defend my claim was 1st, I sent judgement in for both the accounts i'm claiming for, then today I received 2 letters from the court of Lloyds acknowledging my claims on 5th June !!! 4 days too late. When I rang the court the clerk said they have a backlog of judgements to get through, if a defence is submitted in the meantime (before my judgement is processed) then this will be the priority ?!!
It's beyond me  why have deadlines ?

i am glad to hear that i am not the only one here that thinks this ,maybe this is something martin can get his teeth into (not that he has enough on his plate) but his thoughts on the mater would be welcome, i gues now i will have to wait for the inevatable to happen ie set aside ,acknowlage, defend the claim even though we was up all night waiting to enter at midnight, i feel now i have wasted a nights sleep just for more stress and worry
I c you have a claim with barclays well all i can say is good luck they have concreat boots on expect to go all the way as it seems no that i will have to with them:rolleyes: ITS A FAR BETER THING I DO NOW THAN I HAVE EVER DONE BEFORE

I bet if the shoe was on the other foot and we were the defendants 'acknowledging/defending' 4 days late it wouldn't be processed
