If the continue to chase, (ie demand payment) then do a formal complaint in writing. They're allowed to send you statements and anything they are required to under the consumer credit act, but they can't demand payment.

Im aware of that, thank you for your advice today! Provident told me they will continue to send me statements but wont ask for payment. To be fair most have been ok, taken my DRO number and ive not heard another thing!

where i work, once all relavent paperwork is received it takes us 7 days at the mo to check the ppw and get the forms put together to send out to the applicant. The delays are the applicant getting the paperwork together to start with, and then paying the fee

I wish that was the case with mine, then it would have been my fault .... but i had everything for them from day 1, they just dragged their feet something chronic! I would get told Ill be contacted if anything needed etc, then they would leave someone else would come along, they'd have to catch up and take on the work left behind, they then want to start again it was a nightmare! :(
