Have you turned your heating on yet?

It has always been Army rules here, Nov 1st - March 31st but since I got copd I can stand neither breathing cold air or stuffy central heating. I'm going to win the lotto this weekend and move to the Med.

Shocking new. Having the window open all night actually resulted in being "slightly chilly" last night.

Im at home with my toddler most days and ive already started to put the heating on 4X a day for and an hour at a time. We have a very cold house with open fields at the back and a loft conversion with hardly any insulation! (im in the north west)
I had to get help from the energy trust fund earlier this year as my bills we're so huge. We'd moved to our new home just before Christmas and I didn't realise how much it was costing to heat.
Im going to be MUCH more careful this year.

It's amazing how we're even talking about heating our homes in winter as though it's a luxury.
