i recieved this email last night
Thanks for the book that I got. It wasn't what I expected to be honest as
wanted something that was more on hair pulling (which is something that I
do)... and it was a lot of money for a book that I opened and the pages came
away from the spine, but apart from that, thanks for sending it out so
quickly.
All the best
i always recheck books before i send them out and there was nothing wrong with the pages
the book was called "Compulsive Hair Pulling"(i didnt write it !)
yes the book was expensive £18 but on checking the price of the next 1 was £26.60
so do i email back offering a refund ?, she hasnt asked for one or left feedback
and do refund show on your record as i had to do a refund the other day because somebody changed their mind ?
thanks :T
This is a bit of a problem, she might just give poor feedback if she's so inclined and you may have to either compromise and refund or take it on the chin, it's your call really. It will show on amazons records that you've refunded before but I can't see that this will make any difference either way.0 -
Hi spiddy - you're number 79, you did well to get 5 boxes given to you , the Amazon fairy works in mysterious ways......0

I'm just sitting here smiling as I think I just bumped into another Amazon seller. If you are male, late middle aged and were wearing a knitted hat and duffle coat and writing down ISBN numbers (in the neatest handwriting ever) then I was the mad blonde woman who was watching you!
I have a good place to buy, I knew I wasn't the only one as I would see a book, come home and check and it would be gone by the time I went back, but this is the first time I think I ever met a rival. He was methodically writing down the isbn numbers and I was sort of hanging around pretending to browse and trying to see which books he was favouring, then I was sort of sidling up and adding them to my 'to buy' pile. I actually thought it was quite amusing as he was watchimg me and I was watching him..
I tend to buy non fiction and take a chance now and buy what I think will go well, so sorry, if it was you then I've just bought 14 books and am going to list them now.

that amused me! It wasn't me as I don't wear woolly hats and my handwriting isn't neat. But if out browsing for books and I do spot that someone is watching what I look at, I make sure to include plenty of crap in it just in case they do as you have done, even to the extent of trying to hide them behind other books. Always gives me a good chuckle when I see them head to the counter with an armful of tosh!
But then I laugh at people tripping up in the street on occasion!Do You Twitter?

Hi Guys
Not been about for a while (grrrr:mad: UNI stuff) anyway hope everyone is ok.
Feel like having a moan as my sales have dipped over last few weeks and I don't know why -maybe it's that time of year.
What do others find??0 -
Thanks, Hintza
I have no idea why I didn't add this to the Amazon thread - if a mod is reading this, would you please move it to its proper place?
Thank you0 -

Aha, that will account for the few sub 50p books I bought then :rotfl: never mind, I've bunged some on greenmet as well so if they sell I'll still scrape a profit.
I am fascinated by the rating given by other users. I just came across this oneHas some notes and highlighting in a few sections, otherwise a very good working copyI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you type the ISBN's into Amazon via any bog standard phone of the last year or so you dont get the problem of someone picking off the books while you go home to check!Dec - 21 Books
Jan - 100 Books
Feb - 89 Books
March - 38 and counting0 -
