marvellousaunt have you noticed you're never off duty now aswell?
Like when you go shopping as a civvy you still look for things out of place. You observe staff with customers, and you are always looking at name badges. I'm always asking for receipts aswell these days.0 -

I do that all the time. Basic questions such as time I wait, how tidy it is, gaps in stock as well as looking at name badges are hard wired into the brain.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -
Silly question time. When you pay a bill as a counter transaction at your own bank, do you need a cheque book, or do they just debit it from your account?
I never usually pay bills at the bank, but I have a 'counter transaction' job to do, and I can't find my cheque book!0 -

You mean you don't still have Betty Crocker pancake mix from Tesco DTD days?
How about making meringues with your egg whites? Lovely with strawberries & cream.0 -

Pamcakes are eggs, flour and milk, as are yorkshire puddings. I use my eggs for carbonara - cream, bacon, eggs and cheese; quiche - pastry filled with beaten eggs, milk and bacon; cakes - flour, eggs, sugar and butter; omlettes obviously; scotch eggs - boiled eggs wrapped in sausage meat and breadcrumbs; cookies - the soft chewy ones, peanut butter are my favourite; melting middle chocolate pudding - melt a 100g bar dark chocolate and 1/2 pack butter, mix with 2 eggs and 2 tbsp flour, put in ramekins and bake for 10 mins; frittata/spanish omlette there's loads of stuff
Oh, I like to cook by the way0 -
No egg shops for me - been looking through last financial years paperwork and amazed at how the fee has dropped. Shame as my 6 ex batts have very firmly decided not to pop a single egg in the last month. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

I am only doing a few this time, the local ones to me.
I used to do 8 or 9 of these in a day, and I would travel to new cities for them!
Why do we have to remember the capital M Money Maker?0 -
