LOVE it when that happens, I got some backwater team at 11 to one on a £5 bet. Father in law and Grandfather in law both took the absolute mick out of me for placing the bet saying the odds werent long enough. Saw them next day £60 up, happy days :D:D:D

I only gloated a little, honest.

    £4, 20-1 :)
    Never been that lucky before

Mine was £4 on 11/2 and I won after some careful research and an educated guess! Didn't go with the advertised bet 'in the window' but chose my own and won... paid for a nice meal out! Much love.

RE is DEAD atm for me.
  • No, y'all don't come across at all like smug gits! :D Think the most I've won is £12 - which admittedly is better than the usual naff all!

I just keep wondering what would happen if the lottery ticket I purchase during a GR non-posh supermarket visit ('cos I ain't 25 yet - now who's smug? :p) comes up with all 6 numbers...?

That's what I'd hope too :D Just wonder if the company (MS or client, I'm not sure which) would try to claim they have a right to the money as they are paying me to be there - assuming I have come across this hypothetic multi-million pound lottery result after submitting my MS results. Before submitting my results, I suppose I would just cancel the job for any shoddy ol' reason I want; having just won the jackpot, I wouldn't likely care less what they thought of me for doing so :rotfl:

Yes, I know that given the odds, it's hardly worth thinking about, it was just a random thought that popped into my head one time and now I'm somewhat curious as to what our rights would be in such a situation :o (Although I would request that my details not be released to the media anyway.)

Ha, no they're fine. Just quiet. Then a load of pubs went up shortly after.

GFK has been really quiet for a few weeks as well. I never get any supermarkets on GR? All I've got are furniture, tvs, clothes, phones and a kids shop... maybe only 2 a month come up in my area? Thinking of changing my areas to get better recommendations...

ETA: What's with the posh sandwiches upload on RE? There was nothing on last night, then I log on this morning and loads of ones have come up with a date of 13-14 October? That's yesterday? CONFUSED.

:D I suppose that would work! If I requested not to have my name released to the media, then GR/client shouldn't be able to find out.

Does anyone else find that on ESA they get jobs listed "within 10 miles" that are nowhere near. I always get ones in Ireland (I am not)
Southern Ireland doesn't have postcodes, and ESA give ones with no postcodes to everyone!
