Does anyone else find that on ESA they get jobs listed "within 10 miles" that are nowhere near. I always get ones in Ireland (I am not)

Oooh this is a popular one. Irish visits do not have postcodes so they show up for everyone. Let's all hope someone from Ireland picks them all up soon so they no longer show. HTH.
  • How often are jobs generally updated with the agencies? I'm signed up for one on Monday but was really hoping to do another one on the same trip to save on the petrol and parking at the moment with the one I've got I might just earn a couple of pounds.

Thank you - hadn't thought of the lack of postcodes meaning everyone saw them.

Gap burger job today - The manager is so busy running to get the broom out of the cupboard he nearly trips me up with it, then apologies way too many times. Next he gets the broom at totally the wrong angle and runs it right across suit trousers of smart guy in queue ......had to try so hard not to snort with laughter.

Mahahahaha. Next job I'm so tempted to look really unimpressed and unhappy and pretend to be jotting something down in my phone to see what they do.

Or continually ask them for napkins, 1 at a time.

Could you fetch me a knife and fork please? And a fricken plate. I'm not an animal.

Have just worked out you can order jobs on the Bare job board by company rather than the random order they normally come up in. Feel a little :embarasse it took me that long to work it out :rotfl:

You can also sort by location, although how they sort location and how anyone with an ounce of sense sorts location are very different things.

I need a freakin wet wipe after handling those fries. I'm surprised all the water doesn't immediately rush out of the cells in my fingers due to the salt.

I'm so going to ask for cutlery next time I go in.

LOVE it when that happens, I got some backwater team at 11 to one on a £5 bet. Father in law and Grandfather in law both took the absolute mick out of me for placing the bet saying the odds werent long enough. Saw them next day £60 up, happy days :D:D:D

I only gloated a little, honest.

It is different for different agencies at different projects.

However, it is common for jobs to be "released" (due to invalid or cancelled reports) between midnight and 10 AM.
RE are often released by 1:30AM if you fancy staying up.

Still if you have jobs like that some agencies are happy for you to let them know if you will be in a different area.
