I have become a lot more selective of late and am avoiding the late payers until they become more reliable. Catalyst on the other hand I will not be working for, they are one of the slowest payers in the business as far as I am concerned, even withou the delays of late and their payment methods are unfair as they expect the shopper to pick up the PayPal fee whilst trying to sell it as a benefit being paid via PayPal. If your reading catalyst you need to improve!
I don't mind working for Catalyst as I like their main client and the jobs are quite straightforward and one of the better paid jobs IMO. BUT, I refuse to accept payment by PayPal so don't mind waiting a few more days for a cheque, and I try to only accept jobs towards the end of tthe month so I don't have to wait over a month for payment. We’ve had to remove your signature. Well, if TNS are that desperate to know who I am they can message me! I don't like the way they word emails and a lot of them need to learn phone manners for when they call me (and may I add not at ideal times during the day)0

At least Helion have emailed. More than Bare or gap seem to manage. If I don't get paid by two out of those three this week it'll be a dry Christmas and a dull Hogmanay.0

No wonder TNS don't have time to answer the phone if they are busy playing Miss Marple matching forum names to shoppers
(and NIM -just caught up with D's latest thread (I've read it from the first one but am always behind)-Congratulations !)
We get new people every so often doing this, I get REALLY impressed when they crawl out of the woodwork. Also, thanks I'm not terrified. Ahhh... I agreed to do that shopping centre gapburger assignment why?! It was hilarious/awful in equal measure. I gave the restaurant about 5 minutes to quieten down as it was heaving - more because I couldn't face cramming in there and trying to find a seat. Once we passed the 1pm mark it was better and when I got there it was like the parting of the Red Sea. A register was available almost immediately and suddenly I was guided to a newly wiped table/seat which appeared as if from nowhere.
Had to endure a lady waiting outside the toilets cleaning round my feet with the mop though, always in half a mind to mark them down for that as I find it rather inconvenient.0
