I totally agree, and I think MS-ing companies probably learn as much from this thread as we do!!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The Helion news is not a good start from my point of view, first payment from them and there is a delay....sorry but heard it many times from MS companies. Wonder when catalyst will get around to paying us this month / next month.0

I got a cheque from them the week before last for October jobs. Not expecting payment for November jobs until well into the new year. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Exactly the point I am making, every MS company has a set of t&c we sign up to and are expected to follow however late payments seem to be becoming the norm with SOME companies. What makes it worse is they don't bother telling you until after the event. Catalyst should pay November by the 25th according to their own t&cs. I suspect they won't be paying on time! Not good enough IMHO0 -

I'm inclined to agree, I've started noticing some irregularities in payments recently. Probably missed some others as I only got into it properly in recent times. What comeback do we have as shoppers if companies breach their own ts&cs? Can they be sanctioned by anyone? This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
There is enough of a delay sometimes to get paid a month in arrears like Helion and Gap... I understand that's the situation before I take the job on and accept that, but to then the payments to be delayed when you've often spent money in petrol, phone calls and other expenses is unfair, I feel. We can manage our own finances given the information provided, but when it starts getting late it's another matter.
Hoping Gap appears soon...0 -
The only thing we can do is decide if we want to continue working for them or not. I have become a lot more selective of late and am avoiding the late payers until they become more reliable. Catalyst on the other hand I will not be working for, they are one of the slowest payers in the business as far as I am concerned, even withou the delays of late and their payment methods are unfair as they expect the shopper to pick up the PayPal fee whilst trying to sell it as a benefit being paid via PayPal. If your reading catalyst you need to improve!0

No wonder TNS don't have time to answer the phone if they are busy playing Miss Marple matching forum names to shoppers
